Sky High Engagement
Go Ape became the setting for a fairytale proposal with a twist as a couple got engaged at a dizzyingly high zip wire. 31-year-old Sarah was preparing for a bumpy landing but instead floated back to the ground with a smooth proposal. Partner Elaine chose a truly unique way to propose to her pri-mate Sarah by placing a sign, saying “will you marry me?!” at the bottom of the zip line.
The adventurous couple have been together for three years and met through their shared love of outdoor activities. Thrill-seeking Sarah actually managed to miss the sign at first being caught up in the excitement of the 200 metre long zip wire.
Explaining her reasons for selecting this setting for her proposal, Elaine says, “Being adventurous, Go Ape seemed the perfect setting to propose and it all went perfectly thanks to all the staff. It truly was a memorable day.”
The couple went on to celebrate their engagement by completing Go Ape Grizedale.
