One of our highest adventures, close to a 2 million year old natural limestone cave.

Our Buxton Tree Top Adventure is set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park and within walking distance of the historic Spa town itself. One of the best days out in Derbyshire, you’ll enjoy high ropes, a zip wire and much much more.

The Go Ape experience involves fun and adventure across up to six sites. Each site features our award winning high ropes, awesome crossings, tunnels, bridges and an epic wind-in-your-face zip wire to finish.

If you fancy yourself as a bit of an explorer, you could also visit the adjacent Poole’s Cavern, a 2 million year old, natural limestone cave. Now that’s ancient. There’s some epic activities in the beautiful Derbyshire and Go Ape is one of them.

Zip wires were especially enjoyable. I am 54 and not particularly athletic but thoroughly enjoyed the whole course. Parts of it were challenging which left me with a sense of satisfaction. It was really good fun and I have already recommended it to some of my friends and colleagues even though I only went Go Ape yesterday! Hopefully I will be able to bring my grandchildren along when they reach the appropriate age/ height.

I took my guide group, and some got scared the instructors were very professional and really helped calm the situation.

It was very good, although I have to admit I was very scared and only got as far as level 1. Although I didn't complete all 5 levels I thoroughly enjoyed myself. However if I had one complaint it would be that it is actually quite easy to leave a task. Had I had known that I could actually stop at say level 2 or 3, I may have continued pass level 1. The impression I was given was as if it was virtually impossible to turn back once you start. That's not strictly true and a little misleading. Other than that, the experience was great and the staff were professional, patient and very friendly. Keep it up

Family of four (teens 13 and 16). Briefing from Tom was excellent and assistance from girls on the course. Petrified before I went and scared of heights. Would definitely recommend - if I can do it anyone can. You are so busy with your harness and checking children's harness that you do not have time to be scared of the height. Parents have to check under 16's harness (to be fair I think you would anyway) Do as you are told and you will be just fine. Fantastic adrenalin rush when you go down the final zip wire. So proud of myself. We are still talking about our experience now one week on - still can't believe we did it. Bit pricey for four of us but would recommend - an amazing experience.

Loved the zip wires. The course was mostly just scary enough to be exciting. We had quite a long wait to start the last section, but that was because someone in front was too tired to climb the cargo net and had to be rescued by staff. It's nice to know the equipment is in place to deal with problems like that.
