One of our highest adventures, close to a 2 million year old natural limestone cave.

Our Buxton Tree Top Adventure is set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park and within walking distance of the historic Spa town itself. One of the best days out in Derbyshire, you’ll enjoy high ropes, a zip wire and much much more.

The Go Ape experience involves fun and adventure across up to six sites. Each site features our award winning high ropes, awesome crossings, tunnels, bridges and an epic wind-in-your-face zip wire to finish.

If you fancy yourself as a bit of an explorer, you could also visit the adjacent Poole’s Cavern, a 2 million year old, natural limestone cave. Now that’s ancient. There’s some epic activities in the beautiful Derbyshire and Go Ape is one of them.

I booked this as a special treat for our daughter's 21st birthday treat. Our daughter is Deaf, has Asperger Syndrome, epilepsy and mild Cerebral Palsy, she also has problems with balance and coordination amongst other things. First off your staff were brilliant, our "leader" Daisy was great, even asking how to "say" Happy Birthday in sign language. She made sure I was able to stand next to her to sign the instructions and made sure our daughter knew what to do, showing her how to do things a couple of times and making sure she understood fully. I am terrified of heights and nearly wimped out at the first Tarzan swing, but with Daisy's encouragement managed to do it and I completed the whole course. The encouragement we received from Daisy was brilliant. Even though our daughter was quite slow, we weren't rushed and it was great to be able to take our time doing things, this enabled our daughter to do things herself with just a little help from us, rather than us doing everything for her. The sense of achievement for our daughter was fantastic, as she'd never done anything like this before and she really didn't think she'd be able to do it. She loved the zip lines, her squeals of joy and flapping hands when she came off spoke volumes!. Many thanks for a great day, well worth every penny and it was so nice that our daughter was fully included and no different to anyone else. Big thumbs up from all in our family!

I loved the zip wire-the thrill of flying through the air and I impressed the staff at the Buxton site at how muddy I got, they couldn't believe how I'd managed to muddy all the front of my trousers but I am just THAT impressive!!The safety chat was helpful as I was a tad nervous at the start and it helped ease those nerves. All in all, the best £30 I've spent all year and as an anniversary treat, well worth it :)

It was overall wonderful. We all had the best time, even having to get home with very mucky backsides! None of my tribe had ever experienced anything like this before and it was amazing to do. It is the sort of thing that I never believed I could do and to get round was a triumph.

I took my 14 year old Daughter and her friend to do the Tree Top adventure at Buxton. Overall, we had a great time. The facilities (toilets/cafe) at the nearby Poole's Cavern are very good. We will be going again.
