One of our highest adventures, close to a 2 million year old natural limestone cave.

Our Buxton Tree Top Adventure is set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park and within walking distance of the historic Spa town itself. One of the best days out in Derbyshire, you’ll enjoy high ropes, a zip wire and much much more.

The Go Ape experience involves fun and adventure across up to six sites. Each site features our award winning high ropes, awesome crossings, tunnels, bridges and an epic wind-in-your-face zip wire to finish.

If you fancy yourself as a bit of an explorer, you could also visit the adjacent Poole’s Cavern, a 2 million year old, natural limestone cave. Now that’s ancient. There’s some epic activities in the beautiful Derbyshire and Go Ape is one of them.

Really enjoyed tree top adventure at Buxton, lots of laughs, great for party celebrations. Staff really helpful and always close by. Gave great advice, and tips on introduction. This was my second visit in the past year to Buxton and was just as good as my first if not better. Highly recommend.

Booked for my husbands and daughter's birthday's, we joined up with them there. We found the welcome on arrival very helpful and welcoming all team members introduced themselves offering advise when asked for. The introduction and safety talk was done expertly but at a level to put us all at ease. I have never done anything like this before and very wary of the idea of climbing, swinging and jumping through trees. On to the trees ... well after a iffy start we all throughly enjoyed it testing our fear of heights. My husband is a bt engineer and already quiet happy with height and safety harnesses was happily swinging away from the off. Our confidence to let go and swing soon began to grow but it didn't stop us screaming our heads off. At one point we all stopped and sang 'Happy Birthday' at the top of our voices whilst at the tops of trees. That's a first lol The best bit ... Was just doing it! ... the worst moment the large cargo net Warning only one of us came away clean and we don't know how she managed it lol great day in a beautiful area and a very welcome cuppa at the end of it.

I had an amazing afternoon, in my group we had people aging between 24-57 and many people had fears of heights and bridges etc and most of the staff were very understanding about this! Our instructor was Deana (sorry if it's spelt wrong) she was amazing with the more nervous members of our group!Although I had an amazing time on the course and I wouldn't let little things ruin the experience for us, one male member of staff seemed to have an issue dealing with people, he was quite rude and raised his voice in an aggressive manor when we did things wrong. I understand that he has a duty to our safety, every other member of staff however managed to speak to us and explain things without the agitation. I didn't get his name which is a shame because all other staff members were amazing!Being a larger group we were advised to go at the end, which was fine until the couple infront had problems and held up our whole group, causing more anxiety for the more nervous individuals in my party. I understand why we went at the end and Go Ape cannot predict things like this happening, and if this member of the public knew she was afraid she could have opted to go after us giving her all the time in the world. The course itself was brilliant and on completion everyone was so proud of their own achievements! The rest of the staff team were helpful and didn't rush us along even though we were the last people there!
