Near Buxton

A 4 foot Tarzan Swing drop and a 2 million year old natural limestone cave.

Our Buxton adventure is set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park and within walking distance of the historic Spa town itself.

If you fancy yourself as a bit of an explorer, you could also visit the adjacent Poole’s Cavern, a 2 million year old, natural limestone cave. Now that’s ancient.

The result at Buxton is spectacular. A day out at Go Ape will unleash your inner Tarzan, get you having fun and above all leave you with a big monkey grin.

I booked it as a birthday surprise for my partner, he didnt have a clue. We are both in our late forties and are pretty fit. We really enjoyed the experience, the instruction was very clear and precise. The only activity I found difficult were the ropes with stirrups and the climbing of the netted rope after a swing, my upper body strength needs attention. I am going to look at this and am determined to finish the whole course next time. We both agree that the zip wires gave us the most thrill and were easy to use. Many thanks.

fantastic time

2 adults 4 kids. All had a really good time. Loved the zip wires and big Tarzan swing. Surprised in this era of H&S hype that 20min training and complete novices are let loose in charge of minors. Good to see though, as I rile against the 'nanny state' and all it prohibits. Aerial Extreme, as you probably are aware, use a continuous wire - safer no doubt, but half the fun is in the personal responsibility taken at the point of clipping on. I refuse to be wrapped in cotton wool!
