Near Buxton

One of our highest adventures, close to a 2 million year old natural limestone cave.

Our Buxton adventure is set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park and within walking distance of the historic Spa town itself.

If you fancy yourself as a bit of an explorer, you could also visit the adjacent Poole’s Cavern, a 2 million year old, natural limestone cave. Now that’s ancient.

The result at Buxton is spectacular. A day out with us is about having fun. Lots and lots of fun.

We arrived at our booking at Buxton last Saturday quite late (by half an hour) but all the staff on duty at that time (11.30) were extremely understanding and flexible with fitting us into a later booking. Our group leader Johannes was then very helpful and very competent in explaining and assisting us with the safety procedures and on our release onto the course. We then had a great time making our way around the sites!! Unfortunately, one of our group had to drop out at very short notice due to an urgent personal matter. As we were already late arriving (and then leaving), I did not raise the query of a refund on the day. I therefore contacted customer services today, and spoke to a very helpful member of staff called Andy Maxwell, who listened and understood the position, before taking steps to authorise a refund in the circumstances. His attitude was excellent - very understanding and efficient. Overall, I'm very happy with the efficient and friendly staff, the activity on the day and the help I received afterwards in the difficult circumstances. I would definitely recommend Go Ape to my friends and family. Many thanks!
