I loved Go Ape, although being scared of heights I was quite nervous! Jenni, our instructor, made me feel at ease and she explained everything brilliantly. She fitted our harnesses, and I felt safe once I was strapped in and knew I had to keep myself attached at all times. The emergency whistle on the harness offered some piece of mind too! I really enjoyed going around the course, it was reassuring to have the instructors nearby! They were there if you needed them but didn't interfere. I thought the layout of the course was great, and I liked where you had different options of ways to go around. I chose the difficult option of the tarzan swing just to see if I could do it. It took me a while but with the encouragement of other people and a LOT of bravery I did it. I can honestly say I have never been so scared! It was great fun at the same time though, and I'm so glad I did it. The zip wires were excellent fun! I'm so glad I completed the course, there were a few points I thought I couldn't make it. The whole team were very friendly, very encouraging, and I would recommend it to anyone- even if, like me, you are scared on a step ladder! I still can't believe I did it!! Thanks, Go Ape!

Did the Tree Top Adventure with my wife at Itchen Valley on 13/9/14. It was fantastic. A lot of youngsters there too. The staff were brilliant and went over the safety rules several times until they were happy everyone understood. If you follow the advice then you are safe. In particular, we had Alex going through everything with us. Very friendly, enthusiastic and made sure he got his message across. Would recommend to anyone. Will definitely do this again.
