By car

Woburn Safari Park is approximately one hour's drive from London, Oxford, Cambridge and Birmingham. Go Ape is situated within the Safari Park in the Leisure Area adjacent to the Australian Walkabout and Monkey Business.
Once entering the Park please follow directions for Go Ape and the Safari Lodge where visitor parking is available free of charge. Please allow a little extra time in your journey to make your way to Go Ape through the Safari Park, especially at weekends and bank holidays.

We recommend allowing 30 minutes to get through the Safari Park in order to arrive on time at the Go Ape cabin - it's a bit of a way.

Lockers are available but don't forget to bring a few pennies.

By train

A vehicle is needed once arriving at the Safari Park to reach the Go Ape course so public transport is not recommended.

Take a look at what some of our tribe have said about their time in the forest. It’s always good to hear it straight from the Gorilla’s mouth (…and we’re proud to say it’s totally unedited!)

Excellent course - some challenging areas and some easier/relaxing area which is good but all fun and exciting!Lots of independence which is great and you don't have to rush.Thoroughly enjoyed the location; we got a lot for our money being at Woburn.

Excellent afternoon for the whole family

On arrival the staff were friendly however one of them was eating his dinner in reception. He did offer us a chip which I found amusing and kind but it did not look very professional and he made no attempt to move. Staff should always have an area they can go to to have a break away from their job role. The safety briefing was good however it seemed the wrong way round. The instructor asked us to follow the pictures to practice and then told us what we did wrong. Then he actually demonstrated how it should be done. I feel this should have been the other way round as I did something wrong and felt embarressed which instantly knocked my confidence. On a positive note the staff were very kind to lend 2 of my work colleagues a water proof jacket as it was raining quite heavily. This was a nice touch. They also were kind enough to give one of my colleagues a full refund as she did not make it passed the practice as she was scared of heights. They were also present quite a lot to check we were ok whilst on the course so I would still go again. Overall it was a great afternoon but first impressions could have been better.
