Absolutely fantastic experience marred slightly by my nephew being knocked back for being 2cm too small. However, it's an excuse to come back as soon as he has grown to the required height. He took it well however.

The whole family tribe had a brilliant time! The two old gorillas kept up with the younger baboons to their surprise I think, but bloody ached the next day! Best bit - Zip wire on No. 5. (Rest the arms). The hardest bit - the younger gorilla said , was more like a work out (but she enjoyed herself really, but not cool to show it, just liked the moan). The baboons are nattering to come again. (Just need saftey rules on how to jump of the tyre swings now Ha!)

Felt like that there were too many people. So our session started late and there was a lot more waiting around than we've done in the past. Still really enjoyed it though. Also thought that Rivington, apart from the v. long zip wire wasn't as good as the other courses I've been to (Grizdale and Delamere), felt as though alot of the tree top "obstacles" were very similar Because we'd finshed late the public toilets had already closed - this did cause some of the party some distress, others are more happy to go alfresco!

I came with a group of 12 friends for my birthday! Was great value for money and a super day out!! Had an amazing time and would def recommend it!

I was part of a large group of seventeen people, half of us got the bus service that Crathes recommended which was fine however half the group travelled by car and it was quite difficult to find so could be signposted better from the road. I was anxious that some members of the group would be 5 minutes late but the Go Ape! staff were very laid back and helpful. The safety brief and tutorial was very informative and put a lot of the more nervous members at ease! Being part of a large group has its downsides as throughout the course there was a lot of waiting around for the members at the back of the group. The course is meant to last 2-3 hours but we were there for 3 1/2 hours in total so got our money's worth! The scariest thing about the course had to be the ladders but we soon got used to the height and really enjoyed the zip wires in particular! A few members of our group got very panicked by the tarzan swing but everyone did it and felt a sense of achievement. There didn't seem to be many Go Ape! staff around parts of the course so felt a sense of freedom but some people were doing things that may have resulted in yellow or red cards so could have done with more staff patrolling - particularly on the 4th and 5th courses! One thing I will say is that Go Ape! should be renamed Go Ache! the two days following our day there I was aching so much! Also some of the men had bruises where their harness had been! Overall I would recommend the Go Ape! experience! Being part of a big group there was great as there was a lot of encouragement from one another and team bonding! Not for the faint hearted!

It was a great experience to enjoy with my friends, we had a great laugh and enjoyed reflecting on our experience over a cheeky pint afterwards. The zip wires were awesome and just completing the course makes you feel like you have conquered any fears that you may have had. Thank you go ape.

It was a great experience! The only downside was that me and my girlfriend are quite capable of challenges like these and we were stuck behind a hen part of around 20 girls who were taking ages, so we spent more than half the time stuck behind them, which really detracted from the enjoyment of the day. The challenges themselves were great. We should have been allowed to pass them though, in the early stages of the course.
