Are Sundown Adventures just for children?
Sundown Adventures are great fun for participants of all ages, including adult only groups. Exploring the tree tops after dark is a magical experience, and since Sundown Adventures launched in 2018 we have welcomed groups of all ages, including adult only groups, with fantastic feedback from all.
Is Treetop Challenge open for Sundown Adventures?
Sundown Adventures take place on our Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus courses, making them accessible for everyone over 1m tall (1.2m for Treetop Adventure Plus). Whilst not our most challenging course, the colourful lights combined with the mystery of the forest after dark, create and thrilling atmosphere. Due to the lack of natural light these courses present an additional challenge sure to heighten your senses and test your nerve.
What are the supervision ratios for children?
Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult over 18 years of age. Children over 6 years can be supervised from the course or on the ground at a ratio of 1 adult to 8 children.
For Sundown Adventures on our Treetop Adventure courses children under the age of 6 and over 1m tall can also take part. Children under the age of 6 require supervision by a participating adult at a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children.
Do I need to bring a torch?
A torch will be helpful for making your way from the car park to the cabin and for making your way to the toilets. It does not need to be a head torch, the torch on your phone will suffice. You will not be required to use it on the course.

What should I wear for my Sundown Adventure?
Dress for the weather in clothes that you don’t mind getting grubby. We recommend wearing layers including a waterproof jacket if it’s raining. It’s essential that you wear closed toe and heel footwear that are securely fastened. We recommend wearing gloves, and Go Ape gloves are available for purchase from the Go Ape cabin.
