Our Four Millionth Customer in the Trees
Four million customers have unleashed their inner Ape, swinging through our leafy hangouts on wind-in-your-face zip wires since our first adventure opened at Go Ape Thetford 12 years ago.
We've swung to a new record after welcoming our four millionth tribe member at Go Ape Aberfoyle last week.
Jerome Mayhew, managing director at Go Ape, said:
"Welcoming our four millionth customer is a fantastic achievement for Go Ape and for the visitor to swing through the trees in Aberfoyle in the year of the summer of sport in Scotland is incredible. We are always looking at new ways to bring the thrill of adventure to our customers across the UK."
The four millionth customer
Wendy Miles took to the trees at the Aberfoyle course in Queen Elizabeth Forest Park on Thursday 21 August whilst holidaying in Scotland with her husband Robert Miles and daughters Emily Miles (17) and Katie Miles (14). The Berkshire family was presented with a celebratory certificate from the Go Ape team on descending to the ground, and also received gift vouchers for future admission.
"It was such a surprise to be told we were the four millionth visitor to Go Ape by a gorilla waiting for us at the finish line. It was a fantastic experience which the whole family enjoyed and we are very excited to go back again with our complimentary vouchers in the near future. We would recommend Go Ape to anyone looking for a fun and adventurous family day out."
