It's National Tree Week! Head To A Forest Near You
For the last 39 years, National Tree Week has been dedicated to celebrating our heavenly greenery, so why not plan a trip to the trees and enjoy the natural beauty our land has to offer.
Great Britain is home to some of the world's most stunning landscapes, boasting 46 Areas of Natural Beauty (AONB) and numerous national parks.
At Go Ape we're incredibly lucky to have 28 Tree Top Adventures, 10 Tree Top Junior courses, and 10 Forest Segway experiences in some of the most beautiful forests and country parks across the UK. Our multi-award winning and original forest adventures are set high up in the canopy, giving our tribe a unique and unforgettable view of the great outdoors.
Courses stay open!
Whilst most of our forest doors have closed for another year, we're excited to announce that for mini tarzans we have kept six of our Tree Top Junior courses open this winter. We know that no one loves adventure more than kids, so our hour-long obstacle courses at Alice Holt Forest, Black Park, Cannock Forest, Grizedale Forest, Moors Valley Country Park and Sherwood Pines will remain open all year round!
Gorillas can grab a coffee and watch from the forest floor as their little ones finish on a high (literally) with one awesome zip wire. But don't let the day end there, it's also the perfect time of year to explore our UK hideouts. Uncover an enchanting world packed with wildlife, outdoor play and in some cases the Gruffalo!
Trees are an invaluable part of the world around us; to find out more about a National Tree Event near you, visit the Tree Council and get involved with one of their many tree planting events.
