Go Ape Chessington

Go Ape is temporarily closed at Chessington in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

We’re now prepped and ready to reopen safely but are waiting for Chessington World of Adventures to announce their reopening date before we can follow suit.

All other Go Ape sites will open across England on 4th July. So why not consider booking now for an adventure at Go Ape Bracknell, Crawley, Battersea or Alice Holt, all within 40mins drive of Chessington?

We’ve put in place a bunch of smart operational changes to ensure everyone stays healthy when we relaunch. You can find more information in our FAQs

Just a stone’s throw away from Chessington World of Adventures Resort this really is a mecca for thrill seekers. Our first ever theme park location, this is roller coaster fun in the trees. Be prepared for some challenging crossings and gather the troops for the brilliant four-person zip wire – that’s not something you’ll find anywhere else!

Start them young - bring the whole family and build little ones’ tree climbing skills and confidence on our Treetop Adventure course. They’ll be no stopping them after the final exhilarating zip ride.

Adventure Overload in Chessington

This location is all about heart-thumping fun. With Chessington World of Adventures setting the thrill factor to high, we’ve turned the dial to the maximum to give you the ultimate in high rope fun.

After challenging yourself, friends and family high up in the trees why not head over to the World of Adventure and give yourself a high-speed, high-octane thrill on one of the theme park’s famous rides such as Rameses Revenge or the Vampire.

If you’re an animal lover you can get face to face with over 1000 exotic animals at Chessington Zoo. Adults and children will all get a thrill from seeing lions, tigers, gorillas, monkeys, penguins and sealions.

You could also visit Hampton Court to experience the public dramas and private lives of Henry VIII, his wives and children in the world of the Tudor court. Epsom Common Nature Reserve is also close by.

  • We had a good time at go ape however I was advised on the phone that there was a cafe there. With a party of 7 7/8 year old boys, I was planning on getting them a snack and hot chocolate after go ape. Alas, the cafe was just a kiosk selling a few snacks and had run out of all hot drinks except tea (which we got and after paying they advised no milk ... one of the staff did however offer her staff milk to us). The course was good and the boys had fun and the staff were lovely and helped my son who was apprehensive about the zip wire. They were very patient with him! A good experience just let down by the incorrect info about the cafe

  • There were not enough staff members around. There were 3 whistle blows when individuals got stuck and it took ages for a staff member to attend. Thank goodness it was no one in my party!!!
