What is Treetop Adventure?

Treetop Adventure is a one to two hour Bucks high ropes course for children over 1m tall.

And what a jam-packed high ropes activity for kids it is, too; full of intricate crossings, wobbly bridges and a zip wire finale - guaranteed to evoke screams and laughter. They will tackle tree to tree crossings on 2-3 different loops (depending on the location) with a zip wire to bring you back down onto the forest floor at the end of each loop. Whether you're swinging by their side in the trees or cheering them on from below, you'll be amazed at how much taller they'll walk after conquering the course.

In this video, you will get a flavour of the activity as we feature the critical parts of the high ropes course, including:

  • Safety briefing
  • Training section
  • The various loops, including treetop crossings and zip wires

My daughters did go ape junior. They enjoyed the session. My youngest had difficulty with some of the obstacles and was helped/talked down by the instructors/staff.

Fun, felt very safe and very engaging team helping us along but not intrusive to our experience. A brilliant parent child bonding challenge. Thank you.

  • Go Ape high ropes course

There was an issue of being delayed on the first circuit because of a frightened small child who moved very slowly and tentatively. However the supervisors were very understanding and gave us extra time at the end.

My nearly 9 year old daughter & I had a great time on the Juniour course at Wendover Woods. Although she’s not the bravest person physically, she found it enjoyable because it was challenging but achievable. A few of the elements challenged me a little too! I think if she went again she’d be happy to tackle it with me watching from the ground. The staff were friendly & explained everything clearly.
