Feedback from Sherwood Pines

Take a look at what some of our tribe have said about their time in the forest. It’s always good to hear it straight from the Gorilla’s mouth (…and we’re proud to say it’s totally unedited!) And why not have a peek at what people are saying about us on Trip Advisor.

The experiance was fantastic Andy the instructor was charming and really kind. Really felt comfortable on the Segway after his tuition. A fantastic experiance!!!

Excellent safety briefing and staff put us at ease. Also very helpful when the 2 (12 year old girls) I was a accompanying needed a loo stop. The challenge was just right- a little scary but do able. The course was much longer than I thought it was going to be which made it good value. We all enjoyed the trip and will be back next year

Last year I celebrated my 50th birthday with the treetop adventure, this year I just had to come back for a go on the segways. My daughter and I were full of enthusiasm from the start anyway. We expected it to be a lot of fun - and it was! More surprising was that my husband, who was altogether less sure about the whole thing, also had a great time. It really is a brilliant way to see the scenery, and you cover an astonishing amount of ground in an hour! The only difficult bit is trying not to shout "Wheeee!" too often.

The staff working on the day were very good. The two ladies performing the safety briefing and the lady on the course helping with the zip wire. A nice touch was that the staff would hear you encouraging your children and would pick up on the name and then speak to the children using their name - which added encouragement.

I participated in the Tree Top adventure with my 14 year old niece who was staying with me. She was keen to do this, having enjoyed a similar activity in France. I thought the course was well designed and although challenging, not impossible. It builds up well to the higher ropes and ladders. The safety instructions were excellent. The staff were particularly helpful when one participant got stuck on the rope ladder. My niece and I both really enjoyed the experience and felt we had achieved something. She is keen to go again as well.
