School Trips
At Go Ape, we know that pretty much everything is better outside, and that extends to school trips - no matter the weather!
There have been numerous studies into the benefits of outdoor experiences positively impacting a young person’s development. Including improvements to mental health and well-being, deepening nature connection, and promoting more inclusive and engaging learning.
A Go Ape school trip enables self-discovery, problem-solving, teamwork, better communication and confidence building opportunities.
With age-appropriate activities for 4-16-year-olds, including ground-based games, a trip to Go Ape will live long in the memory - of pupils and teachers alike.
The festive season is just over the horizon and we're inviting our mini adventurers to take part in an all-new exciting Christmas challenge with the chance of winning a class trip to Go Ape!
We're calling all 4-11-year-olds to showcase their artistic skills and passion for adventure to be in with the chance of winning an action-packed class trip to Go Ape for their school AND a Go Ape family ticket for any national Go Ape site for themselves!
There’s so much to learn in the forest - watch your pupils break out of their comfort zone as they overcome heights, ziplines and grow their confidence in a safe and secure environment.
Adventures push us out of our comfort zones, and the greatest rewards come from overcoming challenges, feeling scared or uncomfortable and pushing through barriers to feel a sense of achievement. Adventure builds resilience, and this is summed up in one of our core values of ‘Zero risk = Zero development’ – a valuable life lesson.

Organising an educational school trip is no mean feat. At Go Ape we want to make the experience as simple for the organiser as it is exhilirating for the pupils.
That's why we've created this handy guide that details the process from pre to post school trip visit.
With the help of teachers (and students), we have developed a range of imaginative and stimulating classroom resources to support the National Curriculum.
You will find fun tasks for both in and outside of the classroom, to ultimately create an unforgettable learning experience.
