  • Go Ape high ropes course

We had a great time today on the adventure course. Our son has autism and the staff were all really good with him and took time to explain things that they were doing with him. We did the first loop no problem but then he panicked and got stuck on the first part of the second loop ( I had my own fair share of wobbles and panics going round but it was great). Kingsley climbed up and helped him the rest of the way around, he was really helpful and understanding and our son had a great time and felt a lot more confident with Kingsleys help. Although quite pricey for a family of 4, we was lucky to have vouchers for Christmas that we used. But we would definitely go back again and highly recommend it.

My 6 year old son had his birthday party today. We were 32 people all together and I have to say the Go Ape team were AMAZING! Nothing was too much trouble. We also had a disabled child who they ensured that could do the zip line without causing a fuss. It was amazing how they just made everything happen. I am so impressed. Thank you to all of you!

  • Go Ape high ropes course

We visited for the Treetop Adventure today. My 7 year old daughter managed both challenges with no worries or fear. My 9 year old nephew was very apprehensive, wary and cautious. He managed the first challenge really well and completed the zip line. When he got to the top of the second challenge his nerves kicked in and got the better of him. One of the amazing staff members Max stepped straight in and went up to have a chat with him. Max was great and rather than talk my nephew down he managed to guide him through the challenge. His support and encouraging chats got him all the way round the challenge. My nephew is over the moon he managed to complete it and did the zip line twice too. Just want to give Max and the team on shift today a huge shout out. Thank you all so much, you were great! We would highly recommend Go Ape Dalby. It was a fantastic day.

We visited Thetford forest go ape for the sundown session. My little boy became stuck and couldn’t move because he was frightened. Rowan climbed up and personally took him through the course and got him to the zip wire. Charlotte let him have 3 goes on the zip wire as this was the only obstacle he could do without being scared!! They were all amazing!! Thank you 😊

We went to the first of Sundown sessions this year I wasn't sure what to expect my kids have done indoor climbing before but I wanted to do something different. on arrival staff very helpful seamed genuinely happy to be there. we started just before the sun went down so the kids could see what was ahead of them as it got darker the woods are lite up in different colours it looks great. I had nothing to worry about the kids loved it best thing we have done in a long time great job go ape I can't recommend it enough

Went to Temple Newsam 'go ape' on 09/04/2023, initially booked for the treetop challenge, when my son was over-whelmed for the initial experience, staff assisted in him combating his fears and later allowed him to switch to a more age appropriate course. Again, during the experience, my son froze on two more occasions for the helpful staff to again come to his aid. All the staff need a huge 'pat' on the back for their professionalism and care towards my son. I'm sorry I cannot recall each member of staff names that dealt with my son specifically, however, from afar, I did see others assisting other youngsters and adults alike, causing them to face their own separate challenge. Thank you very much for the experience, I will certainly recommend the activity to others as well as book again.
