Know before you go

Is it safe?

Of course. There is inevitably a risk of injury when undertaking such activities. All participants receive a safety briefing from a trained instructor at the start.

Is there a time limit to complete the course?

No, you can go at your own pace and let people ‘overtake’ if you fancy taking a little more time over an obstacle or section.

When do I need to arrive?

Make your way to the Go Ape cabin and be ready to get going on your Go Ape adventure at your booked time. Late arrivals that miss their session will be charged at full price.

Can I bring a camera?

Phones and cameras are permitted, as long as they always stay attached to the participant. Lanyards are available to buy from the cabin, subject to availability.

Loved the extreme course at Wendover - really different from anywhere else I'd been. However the roadworks were a pain this week.

TREE TOP JUNIOR, Forest of Dean

Great morning for my 9 year old son and his friend. The course was challenging enough to keep them interested and was a great way for them to let of steam and get a good workout at the same time. They completed the course 4 times in the hour so it was definitely worth the cost. They both want to come back.

I took a group of 8 boys aged 9 - 11 and every one of them loved it and can't wait to go back again. They especially liked being able to complete the course as many times as they wanted within their hour session.

I found the zip wires amazing, and the independence you get from doing everything yourself and just being able to go off on your own and at your own pace instead of having to stay with an instructor is awesome! A great day that I would highly recommend

We lived the fact that the older kids could do the big adventure whilst the younger ones did the junior version. Had I realised how well organised it was & how one adult could watch over 8 juniors, I would have definitely joined in too - next time, I'll be in up in the trees!
