Due to an incident at our Bracknell site on Saturday 22nd May, which regrettably resulted in a participant being hurt, our Treetop Adventure and Adventure Plus courses temporarily closed.
Whilst investigations are not yet concluded, we are leaning towards a product failure as the cause and we have shared this information with the manufacturer. The system, designed by one of the world’s leading rope course manufacturers, has been used safely over 2.5million times at 25 Go Ape sites in the UK since 2011.
We have identified an immediate safety fix, the introduction of an additional safety line to act as an independent secondary back up, which ensures that the same problem cannot happen again. This is now operational at all of our Treetop Adventure and Adventure Plus courses.
All of our Treetop Adventure and Adventure Plus courses are open, except for those at Bracknell, which remain closed until the investigation is finalised.

Awesome. First time at Coventry, we have been to Cannock and the wyre Forest. This one was better as had 2 harder climbs/walks.

My 9 and 10 year old boys visited Go Ape Coventry on our way home via Birmingham Airport. They did the Adventure plus experience. They had both been to high ropes courses before and found this one to be interesting and challenging. It is set in a lovely country park enabling you to extend your visit beyond the Go Ape experience. I would recommend this to anyone with children who love climbing and being outdoors.

Thank you to Go Ape for a fantastic party for my 9 year old son and especially to instructor Charlie who was amazing with one very anxious member of the group and enabled him to complete the activity and have a real sense of achievement. A great site at Coombe Abbey too. Highly recommend. Best party ever (says my son!).

We had a great day at the Coombe Abbey site. The courses were really good and challenging at times. The staff were really friendly and very helpful not to mention very experienced. All in all a very worthwhile day out.

Great fun activity & helpful staff.....beware though that car parking at Swinley Forest is a nightmare - was full up so had to drive around for 20 mins to find a spot! Make sure you allow enough time to get parked!!
