Is it safe?

Whilst there is inevitably a small risk of injury when undertaking such activities, all participants receive a safety briefing from a trained instructor at the start.

Is there a time limit to complete the course?

No, you can go at your own pace and let people ‘overtake’ if you fancy taking a little more time over an obstacle or section.

When do I need to arrive?

Make your way to the Go Ape cabin and be ready to get going on your Go Ape adventure at your booked time. Late arrivals that miss their session will be charged at full price.

Can I bring a camera?

Phones and cameras are permitted, as long as they always stay attached to the participant. Lanyards are available to buy from the cabin, subject to availability.

TREE TOP JUNIOR, Thetford Forest

It was very well organised, the staff were friendly and encouraging particularly to my younger daughter aged 5 who was a little nervous to say the least. With some encouragement she did the first loop, even enjoying parts of it. However she was completely daunted by the second loop and we had to come down. Maybe there could be an option just to do the first loop, as this was quite an expensive experience for us. My older daughter however loved it and managed a second loop, plus an extra go on the zip wire as the people in front of her were a little slow!

Fantastic yet again my 5 and 6 year old boys fell in love with the tree top junior adventure all over again. Even thought the 5 year old is a cautious child and the 6 year old whippet waited for no one I loved how the whole experience was such an amazing family morning

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Thetford Forest

The safety talk was quite long compared to how long we had at doing the experience! Also when we finished it was quite unclear what to do, and we ended up leaving without a certificate as we didn't realise.

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Cannock

Overall it was excellent, the kids really enjoyed it. We ended up behind a slow group which resulted in very long waits. The staff were clearly aware and looked concerned at the back log of people but didn't do anything about it.

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Cannock

Both my son and I were quite nervous about our first Go Ape. The safety scheme is excellent and as we progressed we became much more confident. The staff were always close by and full of advice. We will be back.

TREE TOP JUNIOR, Dalby

My son thoroughly enjoyed his hour at Go Ape on the junior course. He was initially apprehensive but his confidence built quickly. The staff were brilliant with the children; welcoming and ensured they were listening to the safety instructions. Can't wait to return, I may have a go myself!!

TREE TOP JUNIOR, Alice Holt

I booked for my 9 year old son. When I booked online, and received my booking confirmation there was a like to an 'itinerary'. I tried to acces this page at various times from various devices, and the page was never available - just an amusing messages about a capuchin having stolen it. Amusing, yes - but I just wasn't aware if I was missing anything. Check in was easy and efficient. All staff seemed lovely, and a safety briefing appeared comprehensive. My only concern was the number of times in the hour my son participated that there were numbers greater than the three on a platform, and 2 on the pathway yet only once did a coach call up to instruct the walkers to observe the rules. (There were routinely 5 on both, while I watched.) There was also a boy, I estimate about 11 who was tormenting his sister and inadvertently other walkers by kicking movable pathways, and swinging to make the whole pathway move. It might have been nice to see the coaches move beyond their central meeting place and 'patrol' the whole route. That aside - I thought it was fantastic, and will definitely be bringing my son back. Thanks, Helen
