  • Had a fantastic time Segwaying at Whinlatter. My children and I all had massive smiles on our faces the whole time. Meg was very clear in her instructions and made it easy for us to learn how to control the machine. My wife felt very nervous trying it and was not comfortable and asked not to continue- without any fuss she got her money back. I could not think of a more beautiful place to have this experience and would strongly recommend it!!!

  • Thought the whole experience was great. However, I do think you should get a full hour on the segways. I fully appreciate the safety aspect of learning how to ride one if it’s your first time but I think that should be built in to the experience making it an 1.25 hrs experience! Great day just not enough time in the forest on the segways!

  • My wife and I (both senior citizens) booked a Segway session at Cannock Chase in Nov. We had booked an outing on Segways on a forthcoming cruise to the Caribbean and wanted to make sure that we could do it. We had no problems at all. It was a brilliant time - very exhilarating and we are looking forward to doing it again. Our instructors were safety conscious throughout and reminded us of our responsibilities at each stop. The briefing and practice session at the start was excellent and we had no fears as we set off through the forest. It was a great shame when the one hour session came to an end; we would have liked longer.

  • 4 of us aged from 12 to over 60 enjoyed the Segwaying. The friendly staff helped the whole group of 12 people get going and after a few minutes practice we were off. Having a guide was good as we were prepared for the steeper downhill bits and given tips as we went along. Breaks for photos and it was all fun. This time of year warm gloves and hats are a good idea. We parked in the station car park for £4 but it looks like there are forest parks you could use.
