Winner of Suffolk Tourism Awards – Best Tourism Experience 2011

The original and still the best. Set in the heart of Britain’s largest lowland pine forest, our first ever course is centred around 30 miles of bike and walking trails from which to explore 50,000 acres of forest. And the mother of all our courses features our classic Tree Top Adventure, Forest Segways and Tree Top Junior.

Our Tree Top Adventure features a NEW Tarzan Swing, back-to-back black crossings (don’t worry, they’re optional!) and an Alpine zip (that goes from tree to tree). Now that’s worth shouting from the tree tops!

And the adventure does not need to stop there. You can get off the beaten track and enjoy our forest adventure with Go Ape Forest Segway - an epic experience with a down to earth twist.

And Thetford Forest is also home to our Tree Top Junior Adventure for Tiny Tarzans. Release your little monkeys onto a Go Ape course designed for them. No one loves adventure more than kids!

Amazing customer service today! I took my niece and nephew on the tree top junior, within minutes my nephew was screaming and crying that he was too scared!! Your staff were outstanding, helping from the ground and then coming to join us up on the course. Even after all the coaxing he was still too upset to continue so your staff took him down and looked after him whilst I continued with my niece. I was so impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of your staff especially on a very busy, hot Saturday! By the time I was down with my niece, a refund for my nephews place had already been arranged. Absolute top notch service - thank you so much!!! You turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a fun one! Would certainly recommend you guys to friends. Thank you! X

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of fun, and really good value because if you finish before your hour is up you can go back round the course, or just go on the zip line as many times as you can! 6 year old already asking to Go Ape again soon.

This was for my daughter's 9th birthday party with 5 of her friends. she said it was her best birthday party. Girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I felt that this idea for a kids party was amazing and totally stress free. Thankyou

The Junior Tree Top adventure at Thetford Forest was fantastic. We took our two kids - five and eight-years-old - and they both did brilliantly. The course is a real challenge, so a big thank you to the instructors, particularly Andre, who really helped get my five-year-old daughter round. It tested all of us, but what a sense of achievement afterwards.

I took a group of 8 year old boys to Go Ape for my sons birthday .(7 kids in total) Up to the safety briefing was fine , then the kids were hooked on and sent up to the tree top . One of the children in the party became immediately very nervous, even the junior adventure is quite high and takes some nerve . With lots of coaxing from the ground he bravely continued around the course . There were 3 members of staff standing at the briefing area for the full 40 mins or so that my party were in the trees . They stood under an umbrella chatting and took no notice of any of the children using the course . Surely their time could have been used more productively ? Maybe having a member of staff up in the trees to encourage and help the children would be a good idea ? Especially if they are standing round doing nothing . I have photos of the staff involved if you would like them just email me . I would not return to Go Ape or recommend to friends . I thought the customer service was appalling which was disappointing as this kind of adventure could be excellent with the right management and staff in place .
