The original and still the best. Set in the heart of Britain’s largest lowland pine forest, our first ever course is centred around 30 miles of bike and walking trails from which to explore 50,000 acres of forest. And the mother of all our courses features our longest crossing, some 26 metres from platform to platform.

With some exciting changes for 2012, including a NEW Tarzan Swing, back-to-back black crossings (don’t worry, they’re optional!) and an Alpine zip (that goes from tree to tree). Now that’s worth shouting from the tree tops.

Don’t forget the adventure does not need to stop there. You can get off the beaten track and enjoy our forest adventure with Go Ape! Forest Segway - an epic experience with a down to earth twist.

And Thetford Forest is also home to our Tree Top Junior Adventure for the over 4′s.

We're open from February to November, but we close our forest doors during December and January (...it gets a little chilly and we like to maintain our adventures so they're all ready to go in 2012).

Weekends in February and March

Plus we're open during February half term - that's 13th - 17th February.

31st March – 30th October daily.

Closed Tuesday (during term time).

Weekends only throughout November.

This is my first time on a go ape adventure, I dont like heights but felt very safe and had a fantastic time and would definitely do this again soon

brilliant, exhilarating, scary, treetop fun. Tiring but well worth the effort, my son was 18 on the day and we created memories for those who climbed, as well as those who watched.

I booked this for my son and his friends - a group of 6 boys and 3 dads - did not take part myself. However, this is the 4th time my son has done it and he has loved it each time. The changes to parts 4 and 5 of the course (which were different compared to last time) were great and the boys thought they were much better. They loved the tarzan swing! The introduction of water at all the departure points is great too - though I think this was there already last year. They need to drink a lot as they go around and there is only so much I can carrry! Would suggest perhaps that the stations are a bit better marked - 1, 2 3, 4 etc. - mainly for spectators/ground crew as it is not always obvious which one you are at. Also perhaps a few more signs for the footpaths to follow the course. Otherwise, generally great!

It was very good fun and I especially liked that everyone is just left to get on with the adventure (in a good way) rather than being molly coddled the whole way round. I only have one point of crtisism which I hope you find constructive, that being that the course ended on a bit of a damp squip. It got progressively harder and scarier which everyone enjoyed but the final few obstacles were extremely easy. The obstacle where you have to jump off and swing to the net near the end is by far the best and the course should end with another obstacle of similar stature before desecnding the final zip line. All in all a great day out!
