Winner of Suffolk Tourism Awards – Best Tourism Experience 2011

The original and still the best. Set in the heart of Britain’s largest lowland pine forest, our first ever course is centred around 30 miles of bike and walking trails from which to explore 50,000 acres of forest. And the mother of all our courses features our classic Tree Top Adventure, Forest Segways and Tree Top Junior.

Our Tree Top Adventure features a NEW Tarzan Swing, back-to-back black crossings (don’t worry, they’re optional!) and an Alpine zip (that goes from tree to tree). Now that’s worth shouting from the tree tops!

And the adventure does not need to stop there. You can get off the beaten track and enjoy our forest adventure with Go Ape Forest Segway - an epic experience with a down to earth twist.

And Thetford Forest is also home to our Tree Top Junior Adventure for Tiny Tarzans. Release your little monkeys onto a Go Ape course designed for them. No one loves adventure more than kids!

Take a look at what some of our tribe have said about their time in the forest. It’s always good to hear it straight from the Gorilla’s mouth (…and we’re proud to say it’s totally unedited!) And why not have a peek at what people are saying about us on Trip Advisor.

We visited on the 28th September, our adventure was booked or 10.00am,we travelled from Great Yarmouth area allowing us 2 hours to get there. We did take a wrong turning and ended up on the stretch of road going in the wrong direction,no turn offs for 6 miles @30mph with no over taking!! At this point out of courtesy i rang to let them know we would be 20 mins late, man on phone said we had 10 mins to get there or we would have to book another day! i do understand each group has time slots but at least i phoned to let the site know,we also got held up by tree felling and i have video evidence as they stopped traffic coming through about a mile away from the entrance, this also made us late! Upon arrival at 10.08 am in car park i sent my daughter and her friends to report into reception and we all raced to reception shortly after. The 3 adults in the party checked in children who they was responsible for,3 or 4 out of the 9 people in party needed the toilet so raced over and raced back and by the time we got back the safety talk had begun.I did mention it to the young girl who was taking the talk we had missed it and she did say i will go over it around the first 2 sections but to be honest being responsible for not only my child and 5 others i felt slightly uneasy about this, subsequently when we done the first attempt at the green, blue and red clips we all done it wrong!! We was advised that she would show us on the next station and go through it but we just looked at what the people in front of us were doing and learnt that way.To be honest it would took of 5 minutes maximum to go through this with us considering safety should be an utmost first with customers!! Finally on reading information on website it said intsructors would be on ground level around the forest,we only saw one when we they was walking the party of 3 people behind us in front of us as we had a slight hold up as one of our party was unsure of the jump!! I would like to hear views please on this,it was my daughters 14th birthday party and did not really feel at ease over my points above,my email address id thank you and hope to get a reply soon Andrea High

Great day out for my 9 year old daughter and her friend. Staff were great .I was unaware that if the children got round the course quickly they could go round again which was great .disappointed the gift shop had run out of water bottles for sale. Thoroughly enjoyed the park and what it had to offer afterwards. looking forward to going back.

My "tribe" were all a bit nervous given our age, however being a determined bunch we just went for it. Jack the member of staff who gave us our brief was friendly, informative and helpful. Loved every minute of it and the aches and pains are a reminder of the fun we had. The best bit for me was diving into the net the worst bit was climbing the net! Would definitely recommend it to all relevant ages, we will be back to celebrate our 80th birthdays!
