Winner of Suffolk Tourism Awards – Best Tourism Experience 2011

The original and still the best. Set in the heart of Britain’s largest lowland pine forest, our first ever course is centred around 30 miles of bike and walking trails from which to explore 50,000 acres of forest. And the mother of all our courses features our classic Tree Top Adventure, Forest Segways and Tree Top Junior.

Our Tree Top Adventure features a NEW Tarzan Swing, back-to-back black crossings (don’t worry, they’re optional!) and an Alpine zip (that goes from tree to tree). Now that’s worth shouting from the tree tops!

And the adventure does not need to stop there. You can get off the beaten track and enjoy our forest adventure with Go Ape Forest Segway - an epic experience with a down to earth twist.

And Thetford Forest is also home to our Tree Top Junior Adventure for Tiny Tarzans. Release your little monkeys onto a Go Ape course designed for them. No one loves adventure more than kids!

Take a look at what some of our tribe have said about their time in the forest. It’s always good to hear it straight from the Gorilla’s mouth (…and we’re proud to say it’s totally unedited!) And why not have a peek at what people are saying about us on Trip Advisor.

Excellent time and challenging both mentally and physically. Great experience

This was a truly unique experience for the kids and they thoroughly enjoyed this. Both me and my wife also had a good time being on the ground as the cheering squad. The time we spent in the forest around the GoApe adventure was also nice and we could have been well prepared to spend the whole day there.Only comments I have is that many times the kids were held up or had to come back down as someone in the front couldn't proceed any further due to many reasons. Os there any way they could be detached from the line without having to backtrack everyone behind them? The site should also advertise about the wonderful forest and activities around the adventure so that visitors can be more prepared to spend more time and use the whole day to have fun.

I Telephoned in the morning to book but the system was down, the lady I spoke to was lovely and very helpful, we decided to come anyway and hope for the best. We waited an hour and a half and it was worth the wait! My son and I had a fantastic time, loved every minute of it. Unfortunately my other son found it all too much and had to come down with my husband (who was secretly relieved!) before he'd even started, but the staff were lovely to him and he enjoyed the adventure playground instead (he's happy closer to the ground!). Thank you for a fabulous experience again.

We had a very good day do the Segway and tree top adventure, some of the tree top was a bit nerve racking but felt very safe all the time. Great day out
Rated 5 Bananas IAN - Tree Top Adventure, on 20 August 2014
Myself and my 12 year old daughter (who is just tall enough 141cm )found the course rules and safety instructions very easy to understand , yet the course offered real challenges that were all very achievable by all on the course without being overly easy at the same time. Without doubt the best bit of the course is the large Tarzan swing it managed to test most of our groups "fear" but once the first guys had gone the whole group just went for it !!.A really enjoyable day out in a great venue that had a lot besides the course itself.
