Winner of Suffolk Tourism Awards – Best Tourism Experience 2011

The original and still the best. Set in the heart of Britain’s largest lowland pine forest, our first ever course is centred around 30 miles of bike and walking trails from which to explore 50,000 acres of forest. And the mother of all our courses features our classic Tree Top Adventure, Forest Segways and Tree Top Junior.

Our Tree Top Adventure features a NEW Tarzan Swing, back-to-back black crossings (don’t worry, they’re optional!) and an Alpine zip (that goes from tree to tree). Now that’s worth shouting from the tree tops!

And the adventure does not need to stop there. You can get off the beaten track and enjoy our forest adventure with Go Ape Forest Segway - an epic experience with a down to earth twist.

And Thetford Forest is also home to our Tree Top Junior Adventure for Tiny Tarzans. Release your little monkeys onto a Go Ape course designed for them. No one loves adventure more than kids!

Take a look at what some of our tribe have said about their time in the forest. It’s always good to hear it straight from the Gorilla’s mouth (…and we’re proud to say it’s totally unedited!) And why not have a peek at what people are saying about us on Trip Advisor.

Unfortunately my son's recent experience on the tree top junior at Thetford was disappointing because he spent 20 minutes waiting in a queue every time to complete each circuit. There were far too many small terrified children who were not capable of completing the circuit without total assistance from their parents. I felt that these children not only had a negative experience themselves,(some were crying) but they also ruined it for other children who were kept waiting. Some of the children did not appear to be even one metre tall as they physically had difficulty stepping from one thing to another. Whilst I appreciate that children younger than 6, but over one metre may participate with their parents, ability at that age is very subjective and it may be advisable to provide a different circuit for them to see how they get on or allow them to take part at less busy times.

We took our 2 granddaughters as a birthday present, ( for the youngest, aged 5 ), and had a great day! The other granddaughter was aged 9, and was sure that she was going to conquer everything, but it was the 5 year old that was first to complete the course. The oldest one decided to take the Zip Wire down after part 1. Seeing her younger sister completing the course, inspired her, and we all went up and done the 2nd part again! With encouragement given by the course marshals, they both became accomplished 'Go Apers', and cant wait to go again. Thank you for providing us with a fantastic day! See you again, real soon.......

We really enjoyed it. It was exhausting but exhilirating. I did things I never thought I would do. It was great to experience it as a family. We are still buzzing from it today. The only downside is the very high parking charges on the site.

It was a great experience and the whole tribe had such a laugh at each other getting across the obstacalsWe will certainly do it again.

Went with 13 year old daughter and 15 year old son. All of us had an excellent time. Very little waiting and just the right level of difficulty. Thought it was expensive initially but when considering the time taken it was actually good value for money. Time seemed to fly which is always a good sign.
