Where the Go Ape story first began in 2002 and continues to evolve with six adrenaline-filled forest adventures.
Treetop Challenge is our classic high ropes course for adults and older children over 1.4m tall, while Challenge Plus is our newest and most demanding high ropes course to date and is suitable for the bravest adventurers aged 10 and above.
Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus are suitable for families, while Forest Segways are for those who want an adventure closer to the ground.

Perfect for those seeking a unique outdoor challenge, Sundown Adventures offer an exhilarating blend of ziplining, high-rope obstacles, and breathtaking views, all with the added excitement of navigating in the dark.

The long, windy drive deep into the centre of the forest sets the scene for this Go Ape location. Tall trees and dense forest provide an ever-changing seasonal backdrop and if you come in summer, the Rhododendrons are a striking sight.
This stunning location has loads to offer for both the thrill seekers and the ‘need to get the family out and about seekers’. If you’re one of the former and enjoy going off the beaten bike track then head for the bike trails – there’s one which is described as having ‘severe, challenging and extremely difficult features!’
There are also a number of other cycling routes more suited to family riding, plus running and orienteering routes.
You can perfect your aim by giving Lookout Archery a go, or take things back to basics on a bushcraft survival course (Back to Wilderness).
Children get a big look in at Thetford which is famous for its free adventurous play facilities – there are giant swings, pyramids, a treehouse and they can bang out music of their own making on the Sound Trail.

- Wear sensible clothes for adventure.
- Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip off shoes, open toes or heels.
- Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.
