“Due to our rural location we recommend that you do not use sat nav or GPS systems to locate our course, however if you feel it will aid your journey, please use the postcode CW8 2HZ or head for ‘Delamere Railway Station’ on Station Road. Go Ape will be signposted from here and is only a few minutes away (depending on the make and model of your Sat Nav!).”
If you're following our direction from our friends "google" they will try to send you down Farm Lane. Please ignore this and continue down to Station Road (which is the next main road on the right).
Follow the signs for Linmere Visitor Centre and, once parked, walk back up the road you just drove down heading towards the railway station. Turn left over the railway bridge and Go Ape will be on the right hand side in the forest!
Please note: It will normally only take 10 minutes to get to the cabin from the car park, but it can take a little longer during peak times.
Parking costs £4 for 3 hours or £6 for all day, giving you plenty of time to refuel at the cafe or to continue to live life adventurously on one of the ape-tastic walking or biking trails that Delamere has to offer.
By train
Delamere Railway Station is a Cheshire Best Kept Station and has won two awards in the Cheshire Best Kept Station Competition.
Here’s the best bit - it is only a 5 minute walk away, giving the perfect opportunity to not only help the environment but also warm up those muscles and get the blood pumping! Once you have arrived at the Station, take an immediate right into the forest following the path and you will see our Go Ape shelter and cabin on the right hand side in the forest.
For train times please see Northern Rail or call 0845 00 00 125.
