Adventure awaits at Go Ape’s Brand New Salcey Forest Location in Northampton!
Go Ape, the leading provider of outdoor adventure experiences, is thrilled to announce the opening of its 37th location, Go Ape Salcey Forest, Northampton. Set to open on the 23rd March 2024, Go Ape Salcey Forest promises two exhilarating high rope adventures ideal for young thrill-seekers.
Treetop Adventure is an hour of action-packed high ropes fun for everyone over 1m tall. Comprising three loops, the initial low loop empowers participants to bolster their confidence. Loops two and three, suspended high in the canopy, features tree-to-tree crossings and obstacles, finishing with the super-fast, super-exciting zip wire.
For those looking to level up, Treetop Adventure Plus isn't just an experience; it's a thrilling step up from Treetop Adventure. Meticulously designed for young adventurers (over 6 years and 1.2m tall), it's one of Go Ape’s first standalone Treetop Adventure Plus courses, separate from Treetop Adventure.
Located just 7 miles from Northampton's centre, Go Ape Salcey Forest is the perfect accessible escape from the city. Get back to nature and take a breath of fresh forest air in this magnificent woodland, surrounded by, “the druids”, 600-year-old ancient oaks, and rare wildlife habitats. There is also an abundance of walking trails, family cycling paths, adventure play areas and a cosy café to refuel.

We know that our visitors will love having the opportunity to experience our woodlands from up in the tree canopy and along with our walking and cycling trails, play areas and the Gruffalo Party Trail, it is yet another activity that we can offer the people of Northamptonshire for a fantastic day out in the great outdoors”.
In addition to the adventure activities, Go Ape Salcey Forest will offer group bookings for birthdays, school groups, team building activities, and special occasions.
