Forest Biking
Take to two wheels and pedal your way around the wonderful Alice Holt forest. Enjoy the fresh air and exercise as you discover new places with Forest Biking. Our bike hire is the perfect activity to combine with a Go Ape adventure, for families, couples and groups.
Helmets are provided free of charge or you may bring your own helmet. Anyone under 16 must wear a helmet and we strongly recommend everyone participating wears a helmet.

Bikes for Hire
Adults' and children's mountain bikes in various sizes can be booked online using the link below.
Please note that a security deposit is required when hiring a bike or a cycling extra. This can be a bank card, driving licence or another form of ID.

Mountain Bikes
Adult's bikes (XS-XL): £15 for 2 hours, £19 for 3 hours.
Children's bikes (16-24inch wheels): £12 for 2 hours, £16 for 3 hours.
Balance Bikes
£10 for 2 hours.

Balance Bikes
The 12" and 14" child bikes are both balance bikes. To hire a balance bike add the 'balance bike' item to your basket on the checkout page, complete your reservation and then select the size upon arrival.
Bike HIre Family Extras
In addition to children’s bikes we also have some other family friendly options for those unable to cycle themselves. All £12.
Buggy
For one or two children, max combined weight 45kg, max height 105cm.
Tagalong
No need to steer or balance, but they can help with the pedalling! Recommended age 4-9 years. Max weight 35kg.
Baby Seat
Designed for the smallest members of the family to join your cycle ride. Children must weigh between 9-22kg and can be up to 110cm tall.

Go Ape Bike HIre
Forest Biking is Go Ape’s cycle hire, with bikes for hire in a variety of sizes for adults and children. In addition to bike rental, you can also hire extras such as child seats and tagalongs, so the whole family can enjoy a pedal around our stunning locations.
Meandering down gentle forest trails or putting your skills to the test on more challenging routes, cycling is a great way to get active and enjoy the forest with your tribe.

Where is best to cycle in Alice Holt Forest?
Forest maps of Alice Holt are available from the Forest Biking kiosk and more information can be found here about the cycling trails can be found on the Forestry England website. Our staff will also be able to recommend suitable routes for the ability of your group.
What days will bikes be available for hire?
Forest Biking is open for cycle hire every Wednesday to Sunday from the Hampshire Easter break to 31st October. Additionally, Forest Biking is open on Bank Holidays and every day during the school holidays. Winter opening hours may vary, please check the booking calendar for further availability.
