New to Alice Holt from April 2025, come be among the first to test the nets!  

A playground in the trees? That’s what Nets Adventure is all about. Come experience our unique soft play activity with a network of huge treetop nets at different levels alongside bouncing balls and thrilling slides back to the forest floor. Aimed at younger ones (and those young-at-heart) – it’s the perfect day out for everyone!  

Nets Adventures activity lowdown 

  • ​Minimum age: 1 year and can walk unaided.
  • Enjoy two hours of fun bouncing in the treetops. 
  • Featuring: giant nets, big bouncy balls and tunnel slides. 
  • Designed for primary aged children.

  • ​Safety is paramount, you’ll get a comprehensive safety briefing before heading up into the trees.

What is the minimum age or height requirement for Nets Adventure?
Nets Adventure is designed for children of all ages, but typically, there is a minimum age requirement of 1 year old. There is no specific height requirement, but children should be able to walk independently to fully enjoy the experience.

Do adults need to accompany children on Nets Adventure?
Children under the age of 6 need to be directly supervised by a participating adult while on the nets. The supervising adult must remain on the nets with the child throughout their session. One adult can supervise up to two children under the age of 6, and for each child under the age of 6 an adult can go for free.

Children aged 6 and over can be supervised from the ground at a ratio of one adult to five children. Adults supervising children over 6 years are welcome to take part and must include an adult ticket in their booking.

What should we wear for Nets Adventure?
Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing is recommended. Closed-toe shoes are required to ensure safety on the nets. Avoid loose items like scarves or jewelry that could get caught in the nets.

Is Nets Adventure safe for younger children?
Yes, Nets Adventure is designed with safety in mind, featuring soft, bouncy nets and enclosed areas to prevent falls. The activity is supervised by trained staff to ensure a safe and fun experience for all ages.

Can we bring food and drinks onto the nets?
For safety reasons, food and drinks are not allowed on the nets. However, you can enjoy snacks and beverages in designated picnic areas before or after your session. Hot drinks can also be purchased from the kiosk within the Nets Adventure arena.

What happens if it rains during our session?
Nets Adventure is an all-weather activity, so sessions usually continue even in light rain. However, in the case of severe weather, such as thunderstorms, sessions may be temporarily paused or rescheduled for safety reasons.

Do I need to book Nets Adventure in advance, or can we just show up?
It’s highly recommended to book your Nets Adventure session in advance, especially during peak times, to ensure availability. Walk-ins may be accommodated, but spots are not guaranteed.

Is there a weight limit for Nets Adventure?
Yes, there is a maximum weight limit of 130 kg (approximately 20 stone) for safety reasons. This ensures the nets and equipment can safely support all participants.

Can adults participate in Nets Adventure, or is it just for kids?
Nets Adventure is open to participants of all ages, including adults. It’s a great activity for families to enjoy together, with plenty of room for everyone to have fun.

Do we need to read the safety rules and advice before participating in Nets Adventure?
Yes, all participants are required to read and understand the safety rules and advice before entering the nets. These guidelines ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Safety briefings are also provided by staff to highlight important information.
