Black Park

The big question when you get to Black Park is where to start? This location really packs a full-on punch of activity and adventure.

New for 2020

Our new family-friendly treetop courses allow you to enjoy an adventure with the whole tribe! Treetop Adventure is ideal for the youngest explorers, while the taller Tarzans can tackle Treetop Challenge Xpress. For those in the middle, our Treetop Adventure+ activity allows you to enjoy part of the Treetop Adventure course and then tackle the first section of our Treetop Challenge course.
For something different, try our treetop nets 30 feet above the forest floor in Nets Adventure. If you’d rather keep your feet nearer the ground, you can give our Forest Segway a go!

things to do in black park

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

  • Wear sensible clothes for adventure.
  • Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip-off shoes, open toes or heels.
  • Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.

MAKE A DAY OF IT

  • Get close to nature on the Habitat Trail.
  • Dogs are welcome in the park.
  • Bring or rent bikes and explore the cycle trails.
  • Work up an appetite and enjoy snacks and food from the café and kiosk.
  • Fantastic staff particularly Luke at Black Park who helped my frightened son on the nets. A great place for children and adults to get some quality exercise in a very unusual way. Great fun!

  • Forest Segway was so much fun! Prepare to be muddy and cold if you’re going in winter but as long as you wear old shoes and have gloves, you will love it!

  • We enjoyed another fantastic visit to the Black Park “Go Ape” facilities, the staff where attentive and gave clear and thorough briefings. The site itself is well maintained and safety is their primary concern. We can’t wait till our next visit.

    Julian Guest

  • Even in the howling wind and rain this was a brilliant experience and great choice for my daughter's 8th Birthday.

    Alice Dyson-Jones

  • We had a fantastic afternoon. It's the second time we've been to Black Park for Segwaying. Loved it. Lots of fun, laughs & the staff were great. Thank you !

    Nanette

  • Great fun, the kids enjoyed it. But a lot of money for what it is. Better value to go to a trampoline park. £40 for 2 kids is a lot to climb over nets for a couple of hours.
