Take on nearly 1,500 metres of tree-to-tree crossings on our epic Treetop Challenge – the longest combined crossing of any Go Ape site. It's a test of nerve and balance, high above the forest floor.
New to the trees? Build confidence on our Treetop Adventure – perfect for younger explorers and first-timers. Ready to level up? Treetop Adventure Plus adds extra height, speed, and challenge for those keen to push themselves a little further.

Things to do in Cannock Chase Forest
Cannock Chase may be the smallest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in mainland Britain, but it’s big on adventure. Just an hour from Birmingham and easily reached from across the West Midlands, it’s the perfect place to escape the everyday and get closer to nature.
Once you’ve climbed, zipped and conquered the treetops, there’s plenty more to explore. Wander one of the many woodland walking trails, or hop on a bike – whether you bring your own or hire one on-site. From relaxing family rides through the forest to the thrilling singletrack of Follow the Dog and the Monkey Trail, there’s something for every pace and ability.
Little explorers will love the Gruffalo Trail, packed with sculptures, fairy trees, three bears’ chairs, and imaginative forest playhouses. There’s also a large children’s play area for even more outdoor fun.
Looking for something different? Give the brand-new disc golf course a go – a fun and accessible way to test your aim and enjoy the forest in a whole new way, brought to Cannock by Forestry England.
Bring a football and make the most of the large grassy picnic area, or grab a drink and a bite to eat at the newly rebranded Grounds Café. Dogs are more than welcome too, with their very own activity trail to enjoy.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
- Wear sensible clothes for adventure.
- Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip-off shoes, open toes or heels.
- Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.
MAKE A DAY OF IT
- Hire or bring your bikes to explore the cycling and mountain bike trails.
- Explore the beautiful woodland on the walking trails.
- Let the children loose on the children’s adventure playground.
- Bring the dog and tackle the doggy activity trail!
