Had the best day ever at Go Ape. Very friendly staff taught us how to use the equipment then we were off! Laughed so much along the way. Highly recommend!

Axe throwing activity was just the best fun. Sarah, our instructor was so friendly, funny, and helpful. We did all 3 throws (right, left handed and two handed) and even managed to hit the board a few times. The games are fun and you can take photos of your achievements! Wear layers for the weather, we had a bit of light rain and needed coats, footwear - trainers/boots you don't mind getting a little muddy. Certificate and sticker awarded at the end if you don't want to get the medals package...we did, its got pride of place at home 😂

This place is well-organised, safe, and lots of fun — I’d absolutely recommend Go Ape Matfen to families looking for a bit of adventure in a beautiful woodland setting. We’ll definitely be back!
