Axe Throwing is the ultimate way to release your inner warrior for unique, stressbusting fun. It’s all about skill rather than strength, and our instructors are on hand to help you master the techniques before the real competition begins.

Available in 30-minute or 1-hour sessions, this is the perfect experience for groups or just getting competitive with your adventure buddy. What’s more, you can save £10 when you combine it with our high ropes.

Axe throwing activity was just the best fun. Sarah, our instructor was so friendly, funny, and helpful. We did all 3 throws (right, left handed and two handed) and even managed to hit the board a few times. The games are fun and you can take photos of your achievements! Wear layers for the weather, we had a bit of light rain and needed coats, footwear - trainers/boots you don't mind getting a little muddy. Certificate and sticker awarded at the end if you don't want to get the medals package...we did, its got pride of place at home 😂

This place is well-organised, safe, and lots of fun — I’d absolutely recommend Go Ape Matfen to families looking for a bit of adventure in a beautiful woodland setting. We’ll definitely be back!
