  • Visited Go Ape for the first time to do Segway. The experience was exceptional . Site is amazing and really worth a visit. Go Ape staff are all welcoming and helpful. Balance of all the health & safety is what is required. Short training session then off into the forest. Thanks to Lara for the entire package. Cafe on site perfect with lots of outdoor space all in all 5 Star. Only issue is the high cost for parking that all visitors pay regardless of what your there for. Might of expected discounted rate for Go Apers. Thanks

  • My husband and I booked on to the Segway Experiance for our wedding anniversary. When we turned up the staff at the desk were friendly and pointed us in the direction of the segways. The instructor greeted us there and got us to fill in some safety paperwork. We were sized up for some helmets to. No age limits just weight limits over 7 stone and under 19.5 stone and for under 15 years old 1 supervising adult to 3 kids. The instructor was knowledgeable and explained things clearly for everyone to understand in a little briefing. Each person took a turn at getting on/off and balancing on the segway with the instructor and then we were off already on the training track! Getting up hills takes a bit of getting used to but it was really simple to do. A little more training as a group and then the fun bit of taken off training mode and speeding around the forest. A few stops along the way for photos and hill warnings. It's an hour long in total and was great fun, good experience!

  • I went with my son for his 16th birthday. We both really enjoyed it. Well organised by friendly, experienced staff who take the group around forest tracks. Good fun and relatively easy to master.
