Treetop Adventure (coming soon)

Treetop Adventure launches at Go Ape Whinlatter Forest this summer.

Treetop Adventure is an adrenaline-filled, hour-long high ropes activity aimed at younger children. It has intricate tree-to-tree crossings, wobbly bridges and brilliant zip wires for kids, all designed for young adventurers over 1m tall.

Kids and parents love Treetop Adventure as it pushes children outside of their comfort zone in a safe environment. The continuous belay system means that participants are always attached to the safety wires.

Children under 6 need to be supervised by an adult on our high ropes course. For children over 6, parents can decide to supervise/cheer from the forest floor or high up in the treetops.

Give them a Lake District adventure they'll never forget, and book their high ropes and zip line experience today.

Prices: £20

What is Treetop Adventure?

Treetop Adventure is a one-hour Lake District high ropes activity for children over 1.m tall.

And what a jam-packed hour it is, too; full of intricate crossings, wobbly bridges and a zip wire finale - guaranteed to evoke screams and laughter. They will tackle tree to tree crossings on 2-3 different loops (depending on the location) with a zip wire to bring you back down onto the forest floor at the end of each loop. Whether you're swinging by their side in the trees or cheering them on from below, you'll be amazed at how much taller they'll walk after conquering the course.

In this video, you will get a flavour of the activity as we feature the critical parts of the kid's high ropes course, including:

  • Safety briefing
  • Training section
  • The various loops, including treetop crossings and zip wires
