Outdoor Activities & High Ropes for Kids at Go Ape

Quick book

WHAT IS TREE TOP JUNIOR?

It’s a fun filled hour of canopy exploring, trail blazing and obstacles for all to enjoy. You’ll negotiate crossings and finish on a high (literally) with one awesome zip wire.

We’ve aimed our adventure at Junior Tarzans that are 6 – 12 years old. But if your Mini Tarzan is under 6 (but over 1 metre) or over 12 years then just read our Frequently Asked Questions as they can still enjoy our Junior Adventure.

How long does it take?

The Go Ape Tree Top Junior adventure can take up to 1 hour to complete (if you’re speedy it will take less time) and that includes your safety briefing.

What happens in bad weather?

Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy, in high winds or during lightning. Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun! Don’t forget to dress for the weather. Sometimes, unfortunately, we might need to close the course for reasons beyond our control.

What should I wear?

We suggest that you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather, so bring along a mac if it’s raining! Make sure your stomach area is covered. Please wear appropriate footwear with soles with good grips. No sandals or slip-off shoes. You’ll need closed toe and heel shoes (with flat soles). Long hair must be tied back.

When do I need to arrive?

Make your way to the Go Ape cabin and be ready to get going on your Go Ape adventure at your booked time. Late arrivals that miss their session will be charged at full price.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

  • Wear closed toe, flat shoes
  • Bring Gloves, or buy them on the day
  • Bring change for parking
  • Suitable clothes for harness / wet weather

Both our junior GoApers and our senior ones had an amazing time. From our youngest at 6 conquering his fear of heights to our 10year old showing no fear on the tree top adventure, all this was possible because of the proffesional way the staff explained and encouraged. Thank you for a great holiday experience.

Actual experience was great. Kids loved it. Booking on-line was rubbish though and despite several attempts I gave up and risked the 45min journey.

Go ape was a really fun activity to do with my 13yr old son. The only drawback was that we had quite long waits before we could start each section.

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Moors Valley

Brilliant fun, we went at the end of the day so the course was relatively quiet but instructors were still enthusiastic and didn't rush us. I bought the gift voucher months ago so we've been looking forward to it for ages! I had to rearrange due to an injury and the guys in the call center were brilliant- really helpful and friendly. Top marks: )

TREE TOP JUNIOR, Battersea Park

I walked in with my grandsons aged 10 and 7 and was pleased to be able to book straight away. They had a ball and I loved watching them. However, there are 2 things I would like to comment on. 1. At the first zipwire platform there was an to me unreasonably long second safety briefing which held things up for 10 minutes if not more. Is that really necessary? 2. In front of my grandsons were two "apes" who got extremely frightened. I accept that that can always happened. However, is it possible to avoid such a long delay, another 10 minutes, by coming to the poor children's rescue more quickly? With best wishes, a retired ape
