Know Before You Go

What should I wear?

We suggest that you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather, so bring along a mac if it’s raining! Make sure your stomach area is covered. Please wear appropriate footwear with soles with good grips. No sandals or slip-off shoes. You’ll need closed toe and heel shoes (with flat soles). Long hair must be tied back.

When do I need to arrive?

Make your way to the Go Ape cabin and be ready to get going on your Go Ape adventure at your booked time. Late arrivals that miss their session will be charged at full price.

Can I bring a camera?

Phones and cameras are permitted, as long as they always stay attached to the participant. Lanyards are available to buy from the cabin, subject to availability.

We took our grandchildren in the school holidays. It was a great experience. They thoroughly enjoyed it. The instructions were clear and the staff very attentive. It was a very hot day but cool under the canopy of the trees. We enjoyed a picnic in the woods and the children played and made dens.We visited the information desk and got good advice on what to do next.We followed the Habitat trail. The children loved climbing on all the wooden sculptures. Finally we found the new play area ...a great finish to our visit. We look forward to returning. Nan

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Leeds Castle

The zip lines were the best especially over the trees. The views were fabulous- definitely worth the high risk. Great adventures, good level of challenge, more instructors around may have helped but overall well placed and good value for money. Enjoyed it very much - would add to the website that one needs to eat well before such a challenge as it is definitely something you need energy for.

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Whinlatter

28th August 2016

Very helpful and friendly staff at Whinlatter, and a great course. But telephone booking system is rubbish and also a rip off- an expensive number to call and then what exactly is the three pound booking fee for? There is very limited mobile signal in some areas around Whinlatter, meaning that booking via the website isn't feasible.

Zip wire in section 3 is excellent as is the Tarzan swing in section 5 making even the bravest of us let out a whimper or a full scream in some cases.
