Skyward High Ropes in the South Downs
You’ll find Alice Holt Forest just four miles south of the historic town of Farnham. This royal forest offers royal views. Take your pick - Scots pines, meadows and ancient woodland are all here to be enjoyed.
Once you’ve climbed, balanced and zipped there’s plenty more to enjoy. Take in the beautiful woodland view as you explore the trails by foot or on two wheels. Children will be spoiled for choice with play areas, wooden animal play structures, Gruffalo sculptures and the Timberline play trail.

If you’re thinking Alice Holt Forest is just for thrill seekers and children, think again! Farnham Angling Society fishes at Lodge Pond and if you get there for 9am on a Saturday morning you can join in on the weekly parkrun.
All of this fun and adventure is sure to work up an appetite, so why not stop by the café at Alice Holt Forest. As well as hot and cold drinks, there’s a selection of snacks and light meals suitable for a variety of dietary requirements. Alternatively, pack a picnic and the choose from one of the many picnic tables, or find a secluded spot in the forest to enjoy some peace and quiet amongst nature.

Know Before Your Go
● Wear sensible clothes for adventure.
● Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip-off shoes, open toes or heels.
● Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.

● Bring a bike or hire one, and explore Alice Holt Forest's cycling trails.
● Sit back, relax and enjoy some delicious food in the Alice Holt Forest café.
● Explore the easy access walking trail or other waymarked routes.
● With children? There are play areas, animal play structures, Timberline play trail and the Gruffalo Activity Trail.
