Pooles Cavern

Venture through the first ‘Wonder of the Peak’, Poole’s Cavern, as trained expert guides take you deep beneath the limestone hills to discover caverns millions of years old.

One of the finest limestone show caves in England is on the doorstep of Go Ape Buxton, so don’t miss the opportunity to tick off two bucket list outdoor activities in one trip. 


Grinlow Woods and Solomon's Tower

For the hiking lovers looking for some woodland walks with breathtaking views to add to their list of things to do in Buxton, take a trip to Grin Low Woods which has many walking trails suitable for all ages, including a wooden sculpture Nature Trail. For beautiful views across the town of Buxton climb to the top of Grin Low to find the impressive Solomon’s Temple, a Victorian folly built on a Bronze Age barrow.

Pavilion Gardens

Enjoy a gentle stroll back to the town centre of Buxton, a short walk away through the magnificent Pavilion Gardens. A beautiful place to visit, loved by both locals and visitors.  Hosting a Miniature Railway, 2 playgrounds, its own boating lake, food outlets and with events taking place most weekends, there’s plenty of fun to be had for all ages.

Where is Go Ape Buxton?



Journey through the picturesque Peak District National Park to find Go Ape Buxton located in the hilltops of the UK’s oldest National Park.    

Based at Buxton Country Park, Go Ape Buxton is a short 15 minute walk from the historic spa town centre of Buxton. 

Just under an hour’s drive from Sheffield city centre, you can spend the whole day in England’s largest historic national park.
