It’s home to one of the oldest and largest recorded heron nesting sites in Warwickshire and is a haven for other wildlife.

You could spend a week at Coombe! There are trails and walks to get you out and about in the 500-acres.

Have a wander around the formal gardens and arboretum, explore the Old Deer Park with stunning views of the Abbey and enjoy a sensory experience in the Wildflower Meadow.

There are two purpose-built play areas for the children – one at the visitor centre for the under 10s and a more challenging Climbing Forest for the over 8s with cargo nets and climbing posts. Bring a bucket and fishing net to discover an underwater world at the Pond Dipping Station, plus there are picnic benches and a Café in the park too.

  • The staff at coombe abbey are great. We booked for a party of 10 children and the Staff were great with the children. Very impressed with the shelter to hire. Only thing that would be good is to have some sort of wind defender as the wind blows off the field into the shelter. Also just one little thing, could you serve tea and coffee from the go ape shed? Thank you all for an enjoyable morning!

  • We went to the Go Ape in Coventry. It was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were wonderful. I was quite scared, but the lady who helped us was extremely helpful, and helped me face my fears. By the end we felt a lot more confident. Really beautiful location, great challenge. We did get a little bit hungry, so maybe take snacks.

  • Lovely day out. My son has special needs and Shelby was so amazing (Coventry) in encouraging him that he did the zip wire which made all of ours days!!

  • An amazing birthday party for my son, him and his 7 friends enjoyed every minute and we’re not rushed through. One child was scared more than the rest but the instructor went in with him once round to build his confidence. Amazing time and your staff are a credit to your company (Itchen Valley Sunday 2.15)

  • This was my 5th time doing Go Ape, first time doing this course. Staff were amazing, really friendly and had a good laugh with us! But the course was smaller then normal on a whole and personal think the Tarzan swing was over hyped, was too big didn’t get to feel the full effect, felt more like a painful zip wire. On another hand the zip wires were the highlight of this course!👍🏼 Big down part: The fact cotton gloves are £3.5!! Thank you Go Ape.

  • We had a great day at the Coombe Abbey site. The courses were really good and challenging at times. The staff were really friendly and very helpful not to mention very experienced. All in all a very worthwhile day out.
