discover new high ropes at coombe abbey

We’ve thrown the thrill-factor book at our newest location. It’s a double whammy of treetop fun and stunning location. The famous "Capability" Brown designed the landscape so enjoy the unrivalled views of the beautiful park with its open grasslands, woodlands, deer park and open lakes. It’s home to one of the oldest and largest recorded heron nesting sites in Warwickshire and is a haven for other wildlife.

You could spend a week at Coombe! There are trails and walks to get you out and about in the 500-acres.

Have a wander around the formal gardens and arboretum, explore the Old Deer Park with stunning views of the Abbey and enjoy a sensory experience in the Wildflower Meadow.

There are two purpose-built play areas for the children – one at the visitor centre for the under 10s and a more challenging Climbing Forest for the over 8s with cargo nets and climbing posts. Bring a bucket and fishing net to discover what’s in the Pond Dipping Station. There are BBQ areas, picnic benches and a Café in the Park.

  • We had a great time at Coombe Abbey Go Ape. The staff are great very friendly and helpful. The safety briefing is very thorough and they are always watching to make sure you are safe.

  • A great place with great staff and great activities. The only thing that let's it down is having lots of very young children who are frightened, lack confidence and can't reach the trolley and who hold up everyone else's fun. It took my group of 10year olds 50 minutes to do one lap of route two because of children holding them up who shouldn't be on it. Such a shame.

  • We had a really, really good time - the reason we didn't give it 5 stars was because on the final part, the plummet thing, my girlfriend and I both got smacked in the face by the harness clip. She ended up with a cut lip and ended up with a black eye. But it was still a lot of fun and it didn't ruin the day.

  • It was good, but it was a bit similar to other climbing places/sessions like at Centre Parks. The best bit was that it had a lot of safety precautions and told you how to do each crossing unlike other places. The worst (most difficult/annoyance) was the hope which was very hard and difficult to do without getting your legs stuck. ...from a ten years olds perspective.
