Crawley

Our Crawley site is located at Tilgate Park, a few minutes’ drive from the town centre and only a 40-minute drive from Brighton. Set within a park containing a lake, extensive woodlands, multiple activities and a themed restaurant, there is plenty to do. There’s no hiding what awaits as you approach this high ropes course. With the course laid out in front of you and the sounds of adventurers tackling the obstacles, you’ll quickly start to feel the anticipation building. Then there's the beautiful forest inviting you for a Segway adventure, the best way to spend an hour on two wheels.

HIGH ROPES IN SUSSEX

Crawley Go Ape is located in Tilgate Park, 162 hectares to the south of Crawley. The park is jammed packed with things to do once you set your feet down on terra firma.

Have a breather and refuel in the Walled Garden café, before heading out to explore the heritage parkland and Nature Centre.

You’ll find beautiful lawns, lakes, heather gardens and a Peace Garden. Go and say hello to the animals in the Nature Centre which is home to mongoose, meerkats, reindeers and otters, to name but a few.

A large children’s play area overlooks the lake and you can hire family boats (rowing boats, canoes and double sit on top kayaks) or single boats (stand up paddle boards and sit on top kayaks) if you’d like to get out and about on the lake.

Up for more? There’s walking routes and cycle routes if you’d like to explore the beautiful parkland a little further.

Sit back and relax by the water’s edge if you fancy trying your hand at angling but if swinging a club is more your thing, then head over to the golf course.

  • Get close to nature in the Nature Centre.

  • Excellent day out with the wife.

  • Fantastic afternoon at Go Ape Crathes. Would definitely recommend. Staff absolutely excellent, particularly Jack our instructor. There were four in our group, myself, my husband and two sons, my 10 year old son went to start and was very upset as he didn't think he could do it as he was scared. Jack encouraged him and talked to him and my son went ahead and had a brilliant time, so much so he even did the Tarzan swing! It was a great afternoon, thanks so much Go Ape!

  • Staff very helpful and friendly, my 10 year old daughter and her friend loved it! There only complaint was that I (mum) was too slow :0(

  • Great course. Was rather a large group and we had to be done quite quickly to get back to the waiting dog. I spoke to the staff who agreed to let us go first which was absolutely fantastic. We weren't held up (which can be the case with lots of people in front of you) and did the course in about an hour (the estimate was about 2 to 3 hours). The car park has plenty of shade for waiting pets and some nice woodland walks as a treat after you've had your fun!
