Every Treetop Challenge is unique, but Aberfoyle's is something else. Delve deeper and deeper into the woodland with crossings that will really test your nerve. Interviewed after Joy and Steve visited every Go Ape in a year in March, Steve said Go Ape Aberfoyle was a favourite spot: “They have a stunning zip across the valley and some really high platforms for the Tarzan Swings.” In fact, their first stop after finishing their challenge was to head straight back up to Aberfoyle.

1.1 The promoter of this competition is Go Ape Ltd (“the Promoter”).
1.2 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any travel companies or social platforms.
2.1 The promotion is open to UK residents (including Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2.2 Employees of the Promoter, Lochend Chalets, Nick Nairn Restaurant, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
2.3 Proof of age, identity, and eligibility may be required.
2.4 Entries that do not comply with these Terms & Conditions will be invalid.
3.1 The competition opens at 11:00 on 20.07.2026 and closes at 23:59 on 26.07.2026 (“Promotional Period”).
3.2 Entries received outside of this period will not be considered.
4.1 Entry details will be outlined across Go Ape and partner social channels.
4.2 Entry may require actions such as following specified accounts and/or completing a competition form.
4.3 Maximum of one (1) entry per person unless otherwise stated. Duplicate or incomplete entries will be disqualified.
5.1 One (1) winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
5.2 The draw will take place within 5 working days of the competition closing.
5.3 The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.1 The winner will be contacted via the email address provided at entry.
6.2 The winner must respond within 7 days to claim the prize.
6.3 If no response is received, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
7.1 The prize is for up to four (4) people and includes:
7.2 The prize must be taken as a complete package and cannot be split.
7.3 The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative.
7.4 The Lochend Chalet sleeps up to four (4) guests.
8.1 Travel arrangements will be agreed and organised by Go Ape.
8.2 Travel expenses are covered up to a maximum total value of £1,000.
8.3 Reimbursement will be made based on actual costs incurred (e.g. car travel at 55p per mile up to the value of £1,000).
8.4 Any underspend on the £1,000 travel allowance will not be paid to the winner and will remain with Go Ape.
8.5 Any costs exceeding £1,000 must be covered by the winner.
8.6 Go Ape will coordinate travel arrangements with the winner and either pay for travel in advance or reimburse the winner for agreed travel expenses.
9.1 The stay is valid Monday–Friday only.
9.2 All elements of the prize are subject to availability.
9.3 The prize must be redeemed within 12 months of the prize draw date.
9.4 Dates requested by the winner are not guaranteed and must be agreed with all partners.
9.5 Winners must be able to accommodate timings and bookings in line with seasonal opening hours and will not be able to choose specific sessions with partners.
9.6 Go Ape and all partners have the right to withdraw and amend this competition at any time.
9.7 No changes can be made once bookings are confirmed.

12.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is unlawful.
13.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
13.2 Personal data will be used solely for administering the competition and fulfilling the prize, and for marketing purposes only where consent has been provided.
14.1 The winner may be requested to participate in reasonable promotional activity, including social media content.
15.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if necessary.
15.2 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of United Kingdom.
15.3 The courts of United Kingdom shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
