At Go Ape, we’ve always believed in the transformative power of adventure. Stepping outside our comfort zones helps us grow, challenge ourselves and discover what we’re capable of. But for many people, cost can be a barrier to those experiences.
The Go Ape Foundation was created to change that. Working with our co-owners and charity partners, we’re providing access to memorable, confidence-building and life-changing outdoor experiences for people from all walks of life.
In 2024, we committed £30,000 to the Go Ape Foundation to bring adventure to more people who might otherwise miss out.
We’re donating £15,000 each to our two charity partners — Free to Be Kids and Go Beyond — to support their incredible work helping underprivileged and at-risk young people.
Our co-owners are also playing their part, raising funds and taking on creative challenges throughout the year to maximise our collective impact.
Free to Be Kids uses joy, adventure and time in nature to transform the mental health of some of London’s most disadvantaged children. Through residential breaks and long-term support, they help young people see themselves as brave, proud and capable — achieving far beyond their own expectations.
Together, we’re creating more opportunities for children to discover adventure, freedom and possibility — whatever life’s circumstances.
Go Beyond gives children and young people facing serious challenges the chance for a residential break that lasts a lifetime.
Their programmes provide respite and inspiration for young people who’ve been bereaved, abused, bullied, or are living in poverty or caring for others. Every break is filled with outdoor adventure, self-belief and confidence-building moments that stay with them long after they return home.
With Go Ape’s support, Go Beyond will deliver even more of these transformative experiences — helping every child believe they can achieve more than they ever thought possible.
