We recommend booking ahead online, though you can try at our cabin on the day. Make sure to check the activity’s requirements first, including age restrictions and supervision ratios. Please aim to arrive twenty minutes before your booking and check in at our cabin first thing. Leave the M25 at junction 24 and take the Stagg Hill/Cockfosters Road (A111). Continue for approximately 2.5 miles on the A111 and head straight over 3 roundabouts. Turn left into the main entrance of Trent Country Park. Sometimes your sat nav will try and send you to another entrance - make sure you join us from Cockfosters Road! The main entrance to Trent Country Park is not signposted to Go Ape so you'll need to keep your eyes peeled. There are two council car parks near the Cockfosters Road entrance.
Find us a 10-minute walk from Cockfosters tube station. As you leave the underground, turn right and walk up Cockfosters Road (A111, heading away from the shops). Trent Country Park is on your right-hand side approximately 400 metres along. Follow the park road and you’ll soon see our Go Ape cabin on the right.
What to wear and bring
Dress for fun in the forest! Closed, sturdy shoes are a must — no heels, slip-ons, flip-flops or Crocs (they might be comfy, but they're not adventure-proof). Keep your midriff covered so your harness sits over clothing, and tie back long hair — we don't want it catching in the treetops.
Oh, and trust us on this one — don't wear white. The forest floor has a sense of humour, and it doesn't play nicely with laundry day. Our adventures are great in all weathers, as long as you're prepared!
