Yes well-behaved dogs are welcome on-site, we ask they are kept on leads. Please note that dogs are not able to join you on the course and need a spectator to look after them. Surrounding areas may have dog restrictions (such as the cafe or play area).
There is a cafe on site which sells a selection of hot or cold food and drink, about 200 metres from our cabin.
There are accessible toilets which have baby changing facilities. There is also a new accessible changing facility next to the toilets. You can find more information on Forestry England's website.
There are six accessible parking places close to the main building via a sloped tarmac access ramp. Another 10 parking places are in the smaller front car park which is level, but further from the building. Our site is in the forest so the terrain is uneven including tree roots in places, but the space is open and you can navigate under our course with ease. If you have any specific accessibility requirements please contact us ahead of your visit so we can help. You can also find more information on Forestry England's website.
Yes, parking is available within Beechenhurst Lodge site. There is plenty of parking to choose from, there are three card/contactless only pay machines on site. Two are located under the archway of the main building and one is located close to the Go Ape cabin. You can also pay on your phone by using RingGo. Charges apply, so please check local signage or the Forestry England website before your visit. We recommend arriving early during peak times.
There is limited space to store belongings, so ideally leave bags in the car if you drive to us. All items are left at your own risk.
Toilets are available opposite the cafe, a 200m walk from our cabin. There are no toilets out on the course, so we recommend using them before starting your activity.
Go Ape Beechenhurst is in the heart of the Forest of Dean and is located within Beechenhurst Lodge, a Forestry England site. From Speech House Hotel ignore the brown Go Ape sign as these point to our Mallards Pike location. Instead head west on Speech House Road, the entrance will be on the right. What3Words location for the car park entrance is ///grades.flipping.loom. You'll see us as you drive around the carpark.
