Get Directions

Sat nav to our locations is not always accurate. Please check your route before setting off and cross-reference with a map.

Driving Directions

Search and follow directions to Mallards Pike in your sat nav instead of the postcode (due to our rural location these are not always accurate). Follow the brown Go Ape signs when you arrive (do not follow these to get to Beechenhurst) then Forestry England Mallards Pike signs.

Public Transport

The nearest railway station is at Lydney Station which is nearly 6 miles away. There are some buses, such as the number 27 from Cinderford or Lydney. This stunning location is quite out the way, so a little harder to reach by public transport than some of our other spots.

What to wear and bring

Dress for fun in the forest! Closed, sturdy shoes are a must — no heels, slip-ons, flip-flops or Crocs (they might be comfy, but they're not adventure-proof). Keep your midriff covered so your harness sits over clothing, and tie back long hair — we don't want it catching in the treetops.

Oh, and trust us on this one — don't wear white. The forest floor has a sense of humour, and it doesn't play nicely with laundry day. Our adventures are great in all weathers, as long as you're prepared!

Our blog covers what to wear in every season and what to bring for a brilliant day out.
