Get ready for an adventure
We recommend booking ahead online, though you can try at our cabin on the day. Make sure to check the activity’s requirements first, including age restrictions and supervision ratios. Please aim to arrive twenty minutes before your booking and check in at our cabin first thing. You can save time by having your group sign their Risk Acknowledgement beforehand, check your inbox for the link.

Sat nav to our locations is not always accurate. Please check your route before setting off and cross-reference with a map.
Leave the M1 at junction 15 and take the A45 towards Northampton. Take the slip road marked Wootton and take the first exit on the roundabout to cross over the A45. Go straight across the next roundabout, following signs for Quinton. At the next roundabout take the third turning onto Wootton Road. Follow this road through Quinton Village until you reach the edge of Salcey Forest. The main car park is 800 metres on the left (after the kennels).
The number 33 bus goes from Northampton (40 minutes away) and Milton Keynes (1 hour away) to Salcey Forest, stopping just outside the Forestry England Visitor Information Point.
What to wear and bring
Dress for fun in the forest! Closed, sturdy shoes are a must — no heels, slip-ons, flip-flops or Crocs (they might be comfy, but they're not adventure-proof). Keep your midriff covered so your harness sits over clothing, and tie back long hair — we don't want it catching in the treetops.
Oh, and trust us on this one — don't wear white. The forest floor has a sense of humour, and it doesn't play nicely with laundry day. Our adventures are great in all weathers, as long as you're prepared!
Our blog covers what to wear in every season and what to bring for a brilliant day out.

Baby changing facilities and accessible toilets are located in the Forestry England visitor centre.
Both the forest and car park are wheelchair accessible. Accessible toilets are available in the Forestry England visitor centre, opposite our cabin. The supervising area beneath our course is also wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific accessibility requirements please contact us ahead of your visit so we can help. You can also find more information on Foresty England's website.
There are two large ANPR controlled car parks run by Forestry England. One is located near our cabin and then the overflow is just over the road. This is a pay on arrival system via the pay machines signposted.
We have space for small items at the cabin, but storage is not secure, so belongings are left at your own risk. We recommend bringing as little as possible and any bags to be left in your vehicle if you arrive by car.
Toilets are located directly opposite our cabin in the Forestry England visitor centre. This is 3 minutes away from the course, so we recommend using the toilets beforehand.
Go Ape Salcey Forest is located just 10 minutes from J15 off the M1. The forest is within walking distance of Hartwell and accessible via the 33 bus from both Milton Keynes and Northampton. If travelling from the M1, please follow the signs to Quinton and then Salcey Forest, the car park will be on the left.
