Driving Directions

Public Transport

The nearest train stations are a 25-minute bus ride away at Mansfield and Mansfield Woodhouse (which have direct trains from Nottingham) and an hour bus ride away with one connection at Worksop (which has direct trains from Sheffield). The nearest bus stop is around two miles from Go Ape in Kings Clipstone and then it’s on foot from there. Please note there are no footpaths between the village and the forest, you have to walk on the edge of a fairly busy road.

What to wear and bring

Dress for fun in the forest! Closed, sturdy shoes are a must — no heels, slip-ons, flip-flops or Crocs (they might be comfy, but they're not adventure-proof). Keep your midriff covered so your harness sits over clothing, and tie back long hair — we don't want it catching in the treetops.

Oh, and trust us on this one — don't wear white. The forest floor has a sense of humour, and it doesn't play nicely with laundry day. Our adventures are great in all weathers, as long as you're prepared!

Our blog covers what to wear in every season and what to bring for a brilliant day out.
