Please aim to arrive twenty minutes before your booking and check in at our cabin first thing. From the west: Exit the M27 at junction 5 and take the second exit on the roundabout, signposted Eastleigh A335, then follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park. From the north: Follow the M3, joining the M27 Eastbound towards Portsmouth. Exit the M27 at junction 5 and take the second exit on the roundabout, then follow the brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park. From the east: Exit the M27 at junction 7. From junction 7, take the first exit, signposted Southampton A334, then the third exit at the next roundabout, signposted West End A27, and follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park. From Southampton: Head towards Southampton Airport. Join the A27 and follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park. From Eastleigh: Take the A355 to Southampton airport. Follow brown tourist signs to Itchen Valley Country Park, past the airport onto A27.
Southampton Airport Parkway is our nearest train station, which is a ten-minute bus followed by a twenty-minute walk away. Get off the bus just after passing Haskins garden centre. Continue along the road until you reach the roundabout. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the entrance to the park. It is possible to walk all the way from the Southampton Airport Parkway to the park, it’s approximately three miles and takes about an hour. A taxi should cost around £10. We also have cycle storage facilities and you can find local cycle routes at Eastleigh Cycle Journey Planner. Alternatively you can get a 20-minute bus from central Southampton followed by a twenty-minute walk.
What to wear and bring
Dress for fun in the forest! Closed, sturdy shoes are a must — no heels, slip-ons, flip-flops or Crocs (they might be comfy, but they're not adventure-proof). Keep your midriff covered so your harness sits over clothing, and tie back long hair — we don't want it catching in the treetops.
Oh, and trust us on this one — don't wear white. The forest floor has a sense of humour, and it doesn't play nicely with laundry day. Our adventures are great in all weathers, as long as you're prepared!

Dogs are allowed within the park but must be kept on a lead where signs state. This includes around the walking trails and near Go Ape landing sites.
There is a cafe located half way up the drive that sells hot and cold food or drinks.
Yes all areas are wheelchair accessible, however the woodland floor may be tricky to navigate in places. There are sections along the path that are connected via steps but these are not required to continue or return to the cabin. If you have any specific accessibility requirements please contact us ahead of your visit so we can help.
Customers may park in any of the car parks located within the barriers. It is ticketless, ANPR entry where you can pay at any pay machine before you leave. There are pay machines located near the toilets by our cabin, and in the carprark by the cafe. Blue badge holders are required to pay for parking. We have space for small items at the cabin, but storage is not secure, so belongings are left at your own risk. We recommend bringing as little as possible and any bags to be left in your vehicle if you arrive by car.
The closest toilets are located opposite our cabin, on the other side of the bushes in the black building. Additionally there are other toilets by the cafe on the corner half way down the drive, a 2-minute walk from the cabin.
Go Ape Southampton is located in Itchen Valley Country Park, just 10 minutes from the M27 junction 9. Turn into the park and head through the barriers. Follow the drive all the way to the top car park and you'll find Go Ape in the left corner.
