Temple Newsam is just off the M1 (junction 46 from the south and junction 46 from the north). Our closest car park is Temple Newsam Park – Farm, though there are others around the park.
Reach us by a 25-minute bus from Leeds, followed by a 15-minute walk into the park. We’re also a 35-minute cycle away. Leeds has direct trains from York, Manchester, Sheffield and surrounding areas.
What to wear and bring
Dress for fun in the forest! Closed, sturdy shoes are a must — no heels, slip-ons, flip-flops or Crocs (they might be comfy, but they're not adventure-proof). Keep your midriff covered so your harness sits over clothing, and tie back long hair — we don't want it catching in the treetops.
Oh, and trust us on this one — don't wear white. The forest floor has a sense of humour, and it doesn't play nicely with laundry day. Our adventures are great in all weathers, as long as you're prepared!
