Looking for an exciting activity this Easter? We’ve got something the whole family will enjoy with our brand-new Egg-venture experience at Go Ape Bedgebury. It’s all the fun of our brilliant wobbly high ropes crossings and super zips, all while spotting hidden letters dotted throughout the trail to solve the Egg-venture puzzle.
Spend quality time and work together to earn the prize! It’s the perfect way for families to get outdoors this spring. Available from 28th March to 12th April, book your adventure early to avoid missing out.

Egg-venture is a limited-time event and an add-on to Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus. Supervision requirements follow the same rules as the main activity. Treetop Adventure runs at all Egg-venture locations except Battersea and Grizedale, while Treetop Adventure Plus runs at all Egg-venture locations except Crawley, Dalby, Haldon, Normanby Hall and Wyre.
Children aged under 6 take part on Treetop Adventure. One adult (18+) can supervise 2 children aged under 6 and must participate in the activity.
Children aged 6–15 can take part on Treetop Adventure or Treetop Adventure Plus. One adult (18+) can supervise 8 children aged 6–15 from the course or the ground.

Enjoy climbing, jumping, sliding and swinging your way around the play trail.
Dogs are welcome on site, they must be on a lead around woodchip and sandy areas, as well as carparks and around the lakes.
The main cafe is located near the carpark serving hot and cold food and drinks as well as homemade cakes. A grab-and-go kiosk is located opposite our cabin, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice creams. Opening hours vary seasonally, please visit Forestry England’s website for opening hours.
We have two accessible toilets, one standard and one changing places facility which can be accessed using a radar key, or you can borrow a key from the Information Centre. Baby changing facilities are located in the female and accessible toilets.
We are an accessible site, with accessible facilities. Please bare in mind that we are a forest and most paths are gravel. The Pinetum trail is a way-marked easy access trail suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs. If you have any specific accessibility requirements please contact us ahead of your visit so we can help. All-terrain mobility scooters are available to hire from the information point but must be pre-booked by phoning 01580 879820. To find more information please visit Foresty England's website.
Yes, parking is available at site. The car park is operated by Forestry England, you can pay as you leave, either at the pay station (card and cash payments) or at the barrier (card payments only).
We have space for small items at the cabin, but storage is not secure, so belongings are left at your own risk. We recommend bringing as little as possible and any bags to be left in your vehicle if you arrive by car.
Toilets are located at the Visitors Centre, near the carpark. We recommend going to the toilets before you come up to us at the cabin.
Go Ape Bedgebury is situated just off the A21 and signposted on to the B2079, approximately 12 miles southeast of Tunbridge Wells and 16 miles northwest of Hastings. Directions from London - leave the M25 at junction 5 and join the A21 towards Hastings. You will find the entrance to Bedgebury on your right-hand side approximately half a mile after leaving the A21. Directions from the North and East - Take the A262 to Goudhurst and then turn by the village duck pond to take the B2079 signposted to Flimwell. Follow this road for approximately three miles and you will find the entrance to Bedgebury on your left after the office entrance and Walled Garden entrance. Directions from Brighton and the West - Travel through Lewes and Uckfield to Heathfield. Take the A265 from Heathfield to Hurst Green. Turn left onto the A21, drive straight through Flimwell Crossroad. Bedgebury is signposted from here. Directions from the South - Take the A21 to the Flimwell Crossroad, drive straight across and then follow the sign to turn right onto the B2079.
We have two check-in points depending on the activity you’ve booked: * For our high ropes please check in at the main Go Ape cabin. * Forest Biking please check in at the Bike Hire cabin. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your session.
Yes, brand new for 2026 our Forest Biking experience has bike hire for everything from family days out to experienced biking. We recommend prebooking online. You'll need to bring a security deposit to hire cycle equipment. This can be a bank card, driving licence or another form of ID.
