Experience our boldest adventure in the heart of Tilgate Park. This self belay course will have you navigating your way across wobbly bridges and soaring through the canopy on five exhilarating zip lines up to 146m long. Take on five sections with adrenaline-fueled challenges and high-flying thrills, including suspended bridges, two of our legendary Tarzan Swings and the tough ‘stirrups’ crossing.

Adults must supervise children between the ages of 10 to 15 years old.
One adult (18+) can supervise 2 children aged 10 to 15 and must participate in the activity.
Adults (18+) cannot simultaneously supervise children participating in Treetop Challenge and other high ropes activities such as Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus.

Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome on-site and must be kept on leads. Please note that dogs are not able to join you on the course, and some areas of the site may not permit dogs (such as the café or play areas).
Yes, you'll find a café in the Walled Gardens, serving drinks, snacks and light meals. There is also the Lakeside Café and the Cattle Shack where you can pick up refreshments or takeaway snacks. Alternatively there is the Smith and Western Restaurant for main meals. There is also Tilgate Zoo shop where you can pick up gifts. Opening times may vary seasonally.
Baby-changing facilities are available in the main car park toilets and Walled Garden Café toilets. Accessible toilets are located at the main car park toilets and the Walled Garden Café.
The main paths around the site are even and steep in places. Wheelchairs and pushchairs can access the cabin and Treetop Adventure spectator areas. Paths accessing Treetop Challenge are gravel, forest floor and uneven. Treetop Challenge paths and some woodland paths may be challenging in wet weather. If you have any specific accessibility requirements please contact us ahead of your visit so we can help.
Yes, parking is available at Tilgate Park car park. Overflow car parking is available at the Fishermans Car Park and K2 Leisure Centre. Parking is pay and display or via the MiPermit app. Charges may apply, so please check local signage or the council website before your visit. We recommend arriving early during peak times.
We have space for small items at the cabin, but storage is not secure, so belongings are left at your own risk. We recommend bringing as little as possible and any bags to be left in your vehicle if you arrive by car.
Toilets are available at the main car park, just a short 1-2 minute walk from our cabin. There are no toilets out on the Treetop Challenge course, so we recommend using them before starting your activity.
Go Ape Crawley is in Tilgate Park, just off the M23 Junction 11. Follow the brown tourist signs for Tilgate Park. The entrance to our cabin is inbetween the car park and the playground.
