Absolutely, well-behaved dogs are welcome on-site and must be kept on leads. Please note that dogs are not able to join you on the course, and some areas of the site may not permit dogs (such as play areas).
There’s a cafe and visitor centre a 6-minute walk away.
Yes, there are accessible baby changing and changing places facilities at the visitor centre. You can find more information on Forestry England's website.
Generally, yes. The main paths are accessible. They can be uneven and there are some steep paths to and from the Go Ape cabin. Wheelchair users and pushchairs can access spectator areas around the cabin. Areas around Treetop Adventure, Treetop Adventure Plus and Treetop Challenge may become more difficult in wet weather. Please contact us before your visit to discuss any accessibility needs. You can also find more information on Forestry England's website.
Parking is in the main Forestry England car park, through the automatic barriers. Follow the main forest road toward the visitor centre and drive through the barriers on the left into the main forest car park. Once parked, follow the signs out of the carpark. Turn right up the road. Then at the bridge turn left over the railway bridge and down towards our cabin. It normally only takes 5-10 minutes to get to the cabin from the car park, but it can take a little longer during peak times.
Customers can store belongings with us, but it is at their own risk and Go Ape takes no responsibility for items left in the cabin. We have boxes for smaller items and limited space for larger items. We would encourage bigger items to be left securely in vehicles where possible.
Toilets are available next to the visitor centre and cafe. They are a 6 minute walk from the Go Ape cabin.
Go Ape Delamere is located in Delamere Forest, Cheshires largest wooded area, just 25 minutes from Chester. We are also accessible by train. Do not follow Sat Nav to get here. What3Words mountains.grumble.alarm will take you to the main car park.
