Who is the activity for?

Designed with primary-school aged kids in mind, this experience suits everyone from younger ones to the young-at-heart. It’s open to children over 1 year old who can walk unaided. We regularly have toddlers who take part and have a great time, however, the experience may not be suitable when the course is occupied with lots of energetic older children. We endeavour to keep one tree top net to a more relaxed atmosphere, aiming for a safe and fun experience for toddlers. The first sessions in the morning, or last in the afternoon tend to be the quietest.

One adult (18+) can supervise 2 children aged 6 and under and must participate in the activity.

One adult (18+) can supervise 5 children aged 6-15 years old from the course or on the ground.

Absolutely amazing experience, went with my friend and our 2 daughters aged 10 and 13 on the treetop challenge and had such a fantastic time! Wonderful staff who took their time with the setup and the “training sessions”, we spent about 2.5-3 hours on the course. Great setup and design, it’s quite challenging and high but should be suitable for most “active kids”. We will definitely come again, highly recommended!!

Booked our adventure here for a birthday and had a really good experience! We were greeted by Phil at the desk who was really friendly and made us feel very welcomed whilst checking us in. Our instructor was Olly who helped us set up and made the safety briefing really clear. The course itself was really fun and well laid out! Olly was there throughout our session to give tips and encouragement along the way. Overall the course was great and the friendly staff make this experience so much better! The Challenge Plus experience at Thetford Go Ape is absolutely fantastic! Everything from booking to arrival to completing the course was brilliant and definitely value for money! The team at Go Ape were really friendly, welcoming and helpful with all the aspects of the experience, the course itself lives up to its name with a great variety of obstacles and challenges to overcome - I’d highly recommend a pair of gloves as you’re grabbing onto rope and wires for 3hrs straight.
