practical information

  • I’ve done the Segway experience twice now and both times it’s been brilliant. Good amount of time spent training and actually enjoying the experience and the instructors are always more than helpful.

  • Brilliant day out for my daughter's birthday. Staff where brilliant especially our Segway instructor. We did both the tree top adventure and the Segway. Absolutely brilliant place to go.

  • A great day out. This is the second or third time I have been to Segway at Go Ape and I aim to go again and again and again. The location is awesome, easy to find and set in beautiful countryside. The welcome by the "apes" is warm and friendly and the facilities excellent. Just be wary that you need cash for the parking and always remember to visit the station café which is great

  • 4 of us aged from 12 to over 60 enjoyed the Segwaying. The friendly staff helped the whole group of 12 people get going and after a few minutes practice we were off. Having a guide was good as we were prepared for the steeper downhill bits and given tips as we went along. Breaks for photos and it was all fun. This time of year warm gloves and hats are a good idea. We parked in the station car park for £4 but it looks like there are forest parks you could use.

  • Great day out. Great day out with the kids doing the forest Segway. Lovely team of people, loads of fun. Our only gripe would be that we wanted to go faster. We understand that there are H&S rules, but when you've signed a disclaimer saying that you accept the risk of death, you expect to hit high speeds!!

  • Good induction to go ape by the instructor, quote scary to start with but exhilarating once you have done a few sections. Good fun, would highly recommend
