outdoor activities for kids this February half term
Want something more than a regular day out this half term? Make it a day to remember with a unique adventure among the treetops. With activities to suit kids, teens and adults across our 37 locations, you’ll find an activity to suit the whole family.
From cheering each other on across wobbly treetop crossings and making the perfect zip line landing (well, maybe) to trying out our Nets Adventure for the little ones, or Axe Throwing for the older ones, we’ve got you covered this half term.
Minimum Participant Requirement: 1m tall
Great for all children but especially younger ones as this activity is available to anyone over 1m tall. Tackle tree-to-tree crossings on 2-3 different loops with a zip wire to bring you back down onto the forest floor at the end of each loop.
Minimum Participant Requirement: 6 years old & 1.2m tall
A step up from Treetop Adventure, so children need to be at least 1.2m and 6 years old to participate. Get ready and raring for more height, speed and wobble with this half term day out! Some Go Ape locations feature Treetop Adventure Plus as an extension to the Treetop Adventure experience, at others it's a standalone activity.
Minimum Participant Requirement: 1.4m and 10 years old, except at our continuous belay locations where participants only need to be 1.4m tall.
Treetop Challenge is the biggie. 1-3 hours of fun in the trees with crossings, Tarzan Swings and epic zip wires across five different sites that progress in difficulty as you go.
Minimum Participant Requirement: 1 years old and must be able to walk unaided
Nets Adventure is the perfect experience for bouncing enthusiasts after something fun to do this half term. Leap for the sky in massive, springy suspended nets and make a wish on a falling leaf. If you’re feeling energetic, play dodgeball or invent your own game with the inflatable balls.
