This is an experience adrenaline seekers and nature overs won’t want to miss! In the beautiful Glentress Forest, this incredibly fun and daring course is filled to the brim with tough tree top obstacles.
Take on five exhilarating sections, six epic zip wires and our legendary tarzan swings - all whilst enjoying stunning views, ending with our 48metre high cross valley zipline. Not bragging, but this might be the highest zipwire in Scotland.

Adults must supervise children between the ages of 10 to 15 years old.
One adult (18+) can supervise 2 children aged 10 to 15 and must participate in the activity.
Adults (18+) cannot simultaneously supervise children participating in Treetop Challenge and other high ropes activities such as Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus.

Yes dog are allowed throughout Glentress Forest. Both cafes in the forest are dog friendly.
Yes there are two cafes within the forest. The Peel Café is the first you reach when you enter the forest and is about a 15 minute walk back down the hill from the Go Ape cabin. The Forest Holidays Retreat is located at the top of the forest and is a 10 minute drive.
At the main hub area there are accessible toilets and baby changing facilities. You can find more information on Forestry and Land Scotland's website.
There are accessible trails leading from the visitor centre which are all waymarked. Our course is built into a steep hill so is not wheelchair accessible. Pushchairs can access some of the course but the steep and uneven terrain make it quite challenging. If you have any specific accessibility requirements please contact us ahead of your visit so we can help. You can also find more information on Forestry and Land Scotland's website.
Yes, the Go Ape car park is up the hill from the main Glentress Forest car park. Our car park is right next the cabin.
We have space for small items at the cabin, but storage is not secure, so belongings are left at your own risk. We recommend bringing as little as possible.
There are toilets right next to our cabin.
Go Ape Peebles is in Glentress Forest, about 40 minutes south of Edinburgh. Easily accessible from the A72.
