Is it about time you planned your next break?

If you're looking for somewhere you can relax, unwind and recharge your (almost flat) batteries, how about rounding up the tribe for a holiday in the trees with Forest Holidays? With nine stunning locations across the UK, the luxurious log cabins and treehouses offer the perfect escape, whether you're travelling as a couple, a family, or as a group of mates. (Oh, and dogs are welcome, too).

What's more, each cabin is built from scratch with the environment in mind. Award-winning architects, Holder Matthias design to BREEAM specifications to make sure each location has been sustainably developed, discover more about Forest Holidays' eco-sensitive credentials here.

Choose from cabins that are perched on the edge of mighty lochs, nestled deep within the woodlands or situated in bright, open glades. The cabins accommodate between 2 and 10 people and there are a range of styles to pick from. If you struggle with mobility, you can stay in one of the wheelchair-adapted Copper Beech cabins, while the Hideaway cabins are ideal for couples and come complete with hot tubs, hammocks, and sunken bath tubs overlooking the forest.

The treehouse cabins, which can accommodate up to ten guests, boast large, spacious lounges and log burning stoves; perfect for a snug night in with the tribe. Walk across a wooden bridge and step into a private en-suite bedroom for two. If that's not living like Tarzan and Jane, we don't know what is!

A Forest Holiday is the ideal getaway for every season. It's a chance to get some fresh, forest air in your lungs and reconnect with nature. Turn off your phones and tablets and step outside; explore your beautiful surroundings, by foot, by bike, or by climbing up into the trees at one of our Go Ape obstacle courses!

After a few hours of exploring, you can look forward to a long, bubbly soak in the hot tub when you return to your cabin. Make the most of the eco-friendly underfloor heating, and watch the sun setting behind the trees from the full-length windows of your wooden sanctuary. Life doesn't get much better. So, which location to choose?

Well, every location is unique. In Scotland, you've got the choice of Ardgartan Argyll or Strathyre. The cabins in Argartan Argyll are situated right on the edge of the huge loch, with the backdrop of rolling, pine-covered mountains.

Or if you're looking to escape London life, take a gander at Blackwood Forest, which is just an hour on the train from Waterloo! Perfect for a weekend break.

Forest Holidays has two locations in the heart of England, and that's where you'll also find our tree-top obstacle courses! Nestle yourself amidst 3,300 acres of pine woodland in the glorious Sherwood Forest, or choose an open meadow cabin on the edge of oak woodland in the Forest of Dean.

Alternatively, for those looking to explore the East of England, you'll be delighted to know about the latest Forest Holidays cabins, nestled in the tranquil Thorpe Forest, Norfolk. These luxurious cabins only opened in May 2014 and are ideal for those craving a forest escape.

Whether your stay is a few days, a week or a couple of weeks long, you're guaranteed to return to the 'real world' feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Plus, as members of the Green Tourism Business Scheme, the certification scheme for sustainable tourism, you can return proud knowing that your holiday was environmentally aware. So, go on, book yourself a cabin break you deserve it!

(PS. If you're planning to come hang in the trees with us, make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment!)
